An unknown blue bird can be seen in the background of several production sample photos of Commonwealth Toy's Angry Birds Rio plush set specifically taken on September 1, 2011.[1]
As of currently, it is entirely unknown what this bird was designed for.
It is a medium-sized, dark blue bird with a white belly and white feathers on its head. It has a large, curved beak and is depicted with a broad, toothy grin. Because of the size of its beak, only the left eye is visible, while only the eyebrow of the right eye can be seen.
Due to its lower half being obscured, it cannot be described.
Trivia[]
His design is quite similar to the purple bird seen in the original flock concept art, displaying a very similar grin and beak shape.
