King Biokinton is the secondary antagonist of the Game Boy video game Super Mario Land, serving as the fourth and penultimate boss in the game.
He is the ruler of the Chai Kingdom and an extremely shy creature of unknown species that hides inside of a large cloud. He is one of Tatanga's minions and is used as a nest by his pet chickens.
Biography[]
Super Mario Land[]
Biokinton is stated to be the ruler of the Chai Kingdom in Sarasaland, though it is unknown if he was always the ruler and was hypnotized by Tatanga like the rest of the game's bosses, or he had always been a minion of his.
He is fought at the end of the Chai Kingdom. He attacks by shooting Tatanga's pet chickens towards Mario's ship and can only be hit by the Sky Pop's missiles. Tatanga is immediately fought right after his defeat.
Appearance[]
Biokinton's true appearance is unknown, though he is seen hiding inside of a large cloud with two dots for eyes, looking completely harmless. In the Super Mario Land manga by KC Comics, he appears far more menacing, with his cloud being completely shrouded in darkness and having glowing white eyes, in addition to being much larger than his game counterpart.

- His manual description can also be interpreted as him actually being the cloud, and simply hiding among other clouds due to his shyness.
- The Super Mario Land KC manga depicts him as being far more threatening than his game counterpart.
- Biokinton's actual species is unknown, though it is possible he is a bird due to him launching small chickens from under his cloud.
