Chief Chilly is a minor antagonist in the Super Mario Bros. franchise, first debuting as a boss in Super Mario 64 DS, and appearing again as a boss in Mario Kart DS.
He the self-proclaimed King of Cold who had captured and locked up Wario under Bowser's rule, and was instructed to guard the key to his door. He is encountered after Luigi goes into a hidden portrait located behind a mirror in Peach's castle, where he then must go through a snowy landscape miles above the ground.
Appearance[]
Chief Chilly is a large Chill Bully that is much larger than the average Bully. Most notable is his large pointed mustache, which he is known to brag about, shown when he makes fun of Luigi for his own. He also has three ice structures on his head resembling a crown, and a big yellow spike on top.
Biography[]
Super Mario 64 DS[]
Prior to the game's events, Chief Chilly had kidnapped Wario, as instructed by Bowser, and locked him behind a door in Peach's Castle. He claims that he had primarily done this because Wario was rude to him and insulted his mustache. He is found at the end of the level Chief Chilly Challenge, which only Luigi can access using a Power Flower in the room with a large mirror.
