Biography[]
In the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario and Luigi receive a postcard from Princess Peach, who is in Dinosaur Land with Yoshi. The two take the plane to reach it, but upon landing they find the airport deserted. Suddenly, Bowser materializes in front of the two announcing his evil plans, and then disappears.
The Yoshis hatched from the eggs thank Mario and together they destroy the fortress, but Luigi is disappointed, because despite helping to save the Yoshis, everyone ignores him in favor of his brother. Yoshi sets a series of explosives to blow up the fortress, but the strings get tangled and he doesn't know which one to press anymore. There are four switches connected to explosives, but only one is connected to the fortress, so Mario asks the viewer which one is correct. The explosives don't detonate right away, so Mario asks Luigi to check what's wrong. However, the explosives detonate just when Luigi is nearby, and everyone laughs at his expense. Enraged, Luigi yells at Mario that he hates him, and that he is tired of having to do everything for others without receiving credit and being made fun of by others, so he leaves the group. Mario and Yoshi then go to Bowser's Valley alone. The two try to avoid a Dry Bones who stands guard, but Yoshi has caught a cold after the underwater passage earlier and sneezes, causing the two to be caught. Meanwhile, a desperate Red Yoshi convinces Luigi to come back and help his brother. Tartosso throws Mario and Yoshi down a hole, and when Mario comes to his senses he is faced with a caged Peach and Bowser aboard the Clown Koopa along with an army of Mecha-Koopas. Suddenly, Luigi and Red Yoshi come crashing down the door. Luigi throws a mushroom at Mario and the two brothers start fighting. The two try to throw the Mecha-Koopas at Bowser, who keeps dodging them. Mario asks the viewer how to defeat him, and they soon manage to hit him in the face, causing him to spin out of control as he flies away. Dinosaur Land is saved, and Mario, Luigi, Peach, and the two Yoshis have a picnic eating cake.
After being defeated by Mario and his friends, Wendy O. Koopa orders her fellow Koopalings to get out of her castle with her since she knows that Bowser will destroy it. The castle does get destroyed, but it was Mario who set the explosives off. Luckily, Wendy and her sidekicks managed to escape unharmed.
Trivia[]
