Automatically Guard Impact some attacks. (10%) | |
Guard Impacts become easier to perform. |
It makes Guard Impacting easier and you sometimes automatically Guard Impact your opponent's attacks. If you're good at:
- Guard Impacting enemies attacks, then this weapon best suits you. Despite possessing skills none other than enhancing guard impacts, when wielded by one proficient in making full use of this weapon, it becomes an indispensable tool that proves to be very useful. Best used against slow enemies like: Astaroth, Rock, Siegfried, etc...
- Guard Impact: Referred to in the game as a parrying move. Allowing you to follow up a counter-attack after guard impacting one of the enemy's moves. Some moves however cannot be guard impacted, such as: All unblockable attacks and a few powerful guard breaks. This move is done by pressing the G button simultaneously with any of the directional buttons (basically the forward button), in time with an attack from the enemy. Guard Impact may seem powerful but if your timing isn't right, you'll end up losing health to an attack from the enemy. Please refer to game tutorial for further details and learn while you're at it.
There are two methods of unlocking it: One is to obtain it directly by defeating Tira in Tales of Souls (of which there's a low chance of getting it) or by purchasing it in the Shop. However, you need to unlock it in the Shop first before you can purchase it, of which there are two methods:
- The simplest but the most time-consuming method is by fighting 525 times.
- The second is by playing through Tira's Tales of Souls mode and beating any one of these stages:
- Stage 23 (Seong Mi-na)
- Stage 24 (Setsuka)
- Stage 25 (Maxi)
- Stage 26 (Yoshimitsu in the Grand Labyrinth)
Soulcalibur IV[]
It can be bought in Character Creation for 8,000 Gold after completing Story Mode with Tira.
Soulcalibur VI[]
Description: A ring blade whose Sanskrit name refers to a chariot used by the gods. This peculiar red blade was said to be part of it, and was designed to represent the deities' thunder. This six blades are so powerful that when spun they can cut easily through flesh and bones.
