Nika

This article is about a/an ally and former Ranger in the Power Rangers comic sub-franchise by Boom! Studios.

Nika is the archivist and librarian of the Scotts Library and Archives at Ranger Academy. He is a supporting character in the comic spinoff series, Ranger Academy.

It was later revealed that he was once a cadet enrolled in Ranger Academy and achieved the rank of Yellow Junior Ranger by passing his Morphin Trial.

History[]

When Nika was young, he attended Ranger Academy with his classmate Rhianth.

At some point during his life, some tragic incident caused his body to be damaged, losing his left arm, getting a large scar that went across his right cheek from near his right eye and all the way down to the right side of his chin. He also needed to walk with a cane due to another unspecified injury. The missing arm was then replaced by a cybernetic prosthesis and later he chose not to continue being a Ranger and became the librarian of the Academy.

During one particular late point of the Academy freshman year, Nika was asked for advice on studying material from a new cadet named Sage and somehow knew that this was the daughter of an old friend of his. But, due to the nature of how she entered the Academy, Nika kept the truth about her a secret from the other faculty and provided a little assistance to her studies while trying to encourage her education and not to dig too deep into the redacted history of the school.
