In a potential future which was separated to its own pocket universe following the premature murder of Tommy Oliver at the hands of Lord Drakkon, Calvin Maxwell was Ninja Steel Yellow, Yellow Ranger of the Ninja Rangers.
History[]
Shattered Grid[]
When events set into motion by Lord Drakkon caused the timeline to split into pocket universe, each anchored on a powerset. The Ninja Rangers were split off into their own pocket universe.
Like the rest of the Rangers in the base, Calvin listening to the nightmare that his friend Brody and the other Ninja Steel Rangers had, Madame Odious and her forces launch an attack that resulted in the deaths of the entire Ninja Steel team, Calvin and Preston try to reassure him that will never happen, but Brody is worried as their victories are getting narrower in each battle. Struggling with this fear and uncertainty, Brody decides to go wash his truck to take his mind off of the stressful thoughts.
Later Lord Drakkon then attacked Brody. The other Ninja Steel Rangers arrive. The Ninja Steel team successfully manage to fend Lord Drakkon off and overwhelm him using teamwork. to help Brody, Lord Drakkon is forced retreats into a portal back to his universe, but swears he will return.
Later, Mick has fixed Brody’s Ninja Power Star and Morpher. Brody thanks him and his team and realized that he has nothing to fear as there is no obstacle they cannot overcome as a team working together. COMIC STORY- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 2018 Annual
When Zordon and Alpha 5 patch Jen Scotts’ technology with Zordon’s teleportation technology and sends a warning across time and space to all the various Ranger groups. Hayley, Calvin and Brody morph into their Ranger forms are seen cornered by Drakkon and his Rangers Sentries. COMIC STORY- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Boom! Studios) Issue 27
The Ninja Steel Rangers eventually received Zordon's call through the Morphin Grid and was among numerous Rangers who rallied to his pocket dimension led by the Quantum Ranger for the last stand against Lord Drakkon, reunited in the Command Center. Calvin along with the other Rangers have their Morphers upgraded by Doctor K. He prepared among other Rangers to teleport on the moon of the World of the Coinless for the fight against Lord Drakkon and his Ranger Sentries, led by Jason Lee Scott. He and the other Ninja Steel Rangers piloting the Ninja Steel Megazord. COMIC STORY- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Boom! Studios) Issue 30
During the battle on the Moon, Calvin and the other Ninja Steel Rangers continue fighting against Drakkon's forces, but the reality begins to unravel as a blinding white light envelops Calvin and the other Rangers as they vanish into nothingness while reality begins to be re-written, leaving his fate unknown.
He is seen briefly in Tommy Oliver's vision when an alternate Kimberly aim a Green Chaos Crystal thrown at him. COMIC STORY- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Shattered Grid Finale Issue 1
Calvin's timeline is later restored by the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers after they defeated Drakkon.
