Denning

Denning (Japanese: デニング Denning) was a morph created by Nergal. He was the "commander" of a morph invasion of Castle Ostia while Eliwood, Hector, Lyn and Athos were resting there following retrieving Durandal and Ninian's death. He was apparently solely created for this purpose and to deliver a message to the group, and was as such only capable of saying one thing: 'This is a message from Lord Nergal. "I await you on the Dread Isle."'.

Role

Denning is the boss of Chapter 29 of Eliwood's tale (31 of Hector's tale). The map is a defense map, however killing Denning does not end the chapter, though it will cause the reinforcements to stop spawning. Unlike many bosses, he will move to attack any player or NPC units if they enter his movement/attack range, but if none do, he will remain at his starting position.
