Saint-Germain, the Mysterious Man (謎の男サンジェルマン Nazo no Otoko Sanjeruman?) is the hundred sixty-first chapter of the Dandadan manga series.
Summary[]
In response to Count Saint-Germain not recognizing him, the Fairy-Tale Card comments on how he is not the type who he wants to become friends with and uses his powers to have his eyes vanish. Despite the Fairy-Tale Card believing that he has the advantage over his adversary, now that he won't be able to see his attacks coming, Count Saint-Germain manages to redirect the yokai's oncoming buds with his sword and brings out his vials to go on the offense. After replacing the vial on his sword with the Jumping Crone vial, Count Saint-Germain uses its enhanced jumping and foothold ability to reach the Fairy-Tale Card and slash at his mouth card with Black Haircutter. This results in Rin's mouth returning after the attack cancels out his power. However, this only lasts for a brief moment after the Fairy-Tale Card has his mouth card regenerate from one of his buds. The Fairy-Tale Card tells Count Saint-Germain that his efforts are futile since he can keep regenerating from his buds and questions why he is trying to kill him in light of his plans to free him from the cursed trunk. After using the Water Tiger vial to safely land on his feet from being hit by one of the Fairy-Tale Card's buds, Count Saint-Germain expresses how the yokai is acting careless with his overconfidence, much to the Fairy-Tale Card's denial, and believes that its possible for him to defeat him by destroying all his cards simultaneously, having recalled the pairing of karuta cards. He then agrees with the Fairy-Tale Card's doubts about him being able to pull this feat off by himself, however, after Okarun, Rokuro, and Bega are released from the cursed trunk, he believes that they can help him with this task.
