Seems He Finally Realized She's Cute (かわいいって気付いたっぽい Kawaii tte Kidzuita ppoi?) is the twelfth chapter of the Dandadan manga series.
Summary[]
Late at night, Momo and Okarun go out to search for the missing balls that are said to be, according to the Turbo Granny, wrapped in a golden layer of spiritual energy. Since they haven't found them, the Turbo Granny believes that either a spirit or a yokai has taken possession of them since it emits a powerful life force that draws them in. The three then return back to the house after their failing to find them. Seiko offers to help by calling for support and tells Okarun to be careful about keeping the Turbo Granny's powers under control. The next day at school, Okarun is approached by a few male classmates who request that he introduce them to Momo. After one of them comments on Momo being cute, Okarun starts to blush after coming to this realization in his head but tries to drive out these feelings since he only saw her as a friend. Okarun then suddenly hears the male classmate mention to him an inappropriate rumor about Momo and reacts with anger, which causes him to transform into his Turbo Granny accidently and scare the classmate. After noticing, Okarun calms himself, apologizes for his action, and goes to his seat. The Turbo Granny then surprises Okarun after revealing herself from his backpack and gives a look of glee on her face after witnessing him transform in public. Okarun rushes out of his classroom to not have her be seen and hears her trying to trick him into giving her back her powers, to which he refuse. Okarun then reacts feeling flustered after Momo makes her appearance, having remembered his earlier thoughts about Momo being cute. Finding himself unable to look Momo directly in the eyes after becoming overwhelmed with emotion, Okarun chooses to run away from her while unknowingly leaving the Turbo Granny to roam around the school. Later, Momo returns to class wondering why Okarun is trying to avoid her and hears from her friend that Okarun defended her after a student badmouthed her, much to Momo's shock. Meanwhile, the girl Momo dropped the tub on yesterday looks back as to how she came to see Momo as being evil, after clearly seeing her psychic hands, and how she responded by spreading a false nasty rumor about Momo. She then pulls out a golden ball that she found yesterday from her pocket after believing that it is a message that she is destined to save the world.
