Unji Zuma 3 (頭間雲児3 Zuma Unji 3?) is the hundred fifty-fifth chapter of the Dandadan manga series.
Summary[]
Unji, sleeping as he dreams about his family, becomes woken up by Bega and joins him for breakfast. Refusing to listen to Bega to properly give thanks before eating, Unji is slapped by him as punishment and prepares to walk out after becoming annoyed. However, after hearing Bega comment on how he views his attitude as him giving up easily, Unji sits back down and kicks the table towards him as an act of defiance, causing Bega to be angry at him for wasting food. Later, Unji makes attempts at trying to land a hit on Bega with an umbrella, only to fail as the officer sees through his every scheme. During the night, Unji makes another attempt by attacking Bega in his sleep but stops short in bringing down the handle of the umbrella after noticing a family photo beside the sleeping officer. Unji then chooses to go back to his room. The next day, Unji asks Bega why he decided to take him in if he has a family and learns that his wife and daughter are dead after being killed by a man passing by on the street. Bega further explains that the man's reasons was that he hated society, with his statement being that he wanted to "get back at this rotten world", and that he wanted to rid those who seemed happy to have them understand. Bega admits to Unji that he had once thought about killing him, along with himself afterwards, but could not bring himself to do it due to his daughter's face appearing whenever he came close. Reflecting on this, he tells Unji that neglecting the rotten world they live in will only lead to it becoming more warped and that he kindly took him in because he does not want to give up. Unji responds telling Bega that he does not understand him after everything society has put him and his family through and leaves the apartment to visit the site where his brother was found dead.
