Greylorm is a boss enemy within the Zombies mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III featured in the map, Operation Deadbolt.

Greylorm is a hidden boss in Operation Deadbolt, which can be summoned after completing an easter egg quest.

Summoning Greylorm[]

To summon Greylorm, players have to acquire four USB sticks containing calibration data from four Communication Towers that spawn in the map. The locations are randomized each game, but a map marking the four locations can be found in either of the following coordinates: C1, H2, E8 or G7.

After acquiring the USB sticks, players have to find four Refractors located somewhere near the Aether Storm circle. Each Refractor corresponds to one of the sticks. Players now have to wait until the Storm starts expanding, and moves to the Refractors' location. Once a Refractor is covered by the Storm, it will then accept its corresponding USB stick. Once the sticks are input into the Refractors, a horde of zombies will spawn and attack the players, followed by Greylorm bursting from the ground.

Boss Fight[]

Greylorm's fight is largely similar to Orcus' fight, as it uses the same attacks as Orcus. The fight, however, is more difficult due to it occurring inside an Aether Storm, meaning that players' health and gas mask will be constantly drained. The arena where Greylorm is fought would always have two ammo caches, so players can refill their ammo and replenish their gas mask.

Once Greylorm is defeated, a Reward Rift will spawn, with a guaranteed Schematic drop for either the Flawless Aetherium Crystal, Legendary Aether Tool, or the Scorcher. A Dark Aether Rift will also spawn, allowing players to exfil immediately.

Trivia[]

  • Prior to Season Two Reloaded update, Greylorm had a chance of following players to the Final Exfil location.
  • Like the HVT enemy variants, Greylorm utilises a different texture set compared to the standard Aether Worms.
