Zombie Pigs, also known as Zompigs, Zigs (as stated by the Night of The Living Zigs comic) and Cursed Pigs, are enemies from Angry Birds.
They only appear on the Angry Birds Friends Halloween Tournament for a limited time, some Angry Birds Epic levels and Random Levels on the Angry Birds Stella. These enemies rise up after the living Bad Piggies somehow died. There are zombie sprites for every pig except a few major pigs such as the King Pig and Chef Pig.

Zombie Pigs rise from underground after the pigs were being popped. In Angry Birds Epic, some Zombie Pigs are revived after 3 turns.
Description
They are defeated pigs that came back to life because of a curse caused. They have different colors from green, because of skin decay, the larges one are blue, the medium ones are yellow and have purple snot coming from their snouts and small ones are purpleish white. They also have purple eye bags around the eyes because of the same cause as above.
Zombie Corporal Pig is light blue with two purple spots and a skull as a helmet and zombie Scientist Pig doesn't wear glasses and is purple, along with the fact that his hair is up. While, most of them are cause of defeat, Zombie Fat Pig was created by Scientist Pig with parts of several defeated Zombie Pigs. They have the same strength as when alive but make the level harder.

Angry Birds Friends
In Angry Birds Friends, the Zombie Pigs were introduced in the Halloween Tournament 2012, they rise from the ground when the player defeated one of them. Scientist Pig and Zombie Fat Pig appeared on level 6 together, but Fat Pig was already a zombie. In the Halloween Tournaments 2013, the Zombie Pigs came back with the same ability but the Scientist Pig and Zombie Fat Pig didn't appear. In Halloween Tournaments 2014, they came back but as Mummy Pigs, which appear as Medium and Small but lacks a Large and Corporal Pig. In the Iron Maiden Halloween Tournaments 2018, they came back as, Muddy Zombie, Mummy and normal with two new sizes: Large for Mummy Pigs and blue small for normal Zombie Pigs. The Zombie Pigs make their next return in the House of Porkula Tournament alongside The Hunter.
Angry Birds Seasons
In Angry Birds Seasons, the Zombie Pigs once again appear as enemies in the Pig Days All Hallows' Eve level.
Bad Piggies
In Bad Piggies, the Zombie Pigs once again appeared with a minor role in Tusk 'til Dawn appearing in the cutscenes for that episode and Ross additionally has a Zombie Pig costume in the same episode.
Angry Birds Epic
In Angry Birds Epic, Zombie Pigs are a class of pig that revive turns after their defeat. They first appear in Slingshot Woods. They have a pale green skin, crossed yellow eyes, trotter with a bone sticking out of it, patched snout and green head and broken teeth. These are the ones that appear in the game and how they act:
Angry Birds Stella
Cursed Pig
In Angry Birds Stella, Zombie Pigs only appear in Bonus Levels on the map. This time, they're known as Cursed Pigs. When popped, they rise as Zombie Pigs.
Strategy
The Cursed Pigs appear in some of the Golden Island Pig Missions, they are sick pigs and it's good to not topple structures above them because it will make his defeat as a Zombie Pig difficult.
The Necromancer Pig automatically marks all Minion Pigs to turn into Zombie Pigs, so it's good to have strong birds to defeat them.
Angry Birds Fight!
In Angry Birds Fight!, they appear in Dr. Pig's Lab as enemies.
Angry Birds POP!
In Angry Birds POP!, they appeared in the Halloween 2015 event as enemies replacing normal minion pigs. They later appeared in later Halloween events.
Angry Birds POP Blast
In Angry Birds POP Blast, they appeared in the trailer for the Halloween 2019 update.
Angry Birds Journey
In Angry Birds Journey, they appear in the Halloween Event from 2022.
Animated appearances
Angry Birds Toons
In Angry Birds Toons, Zombie Pigs appear in Night of the Living Pork as secondary characters who were attacking King Pig to try to eat his huge pile of candy.
Angry Birds Stella
In Angry Birds Stella, Zombie Pigs appear in Night of the Bling as secondary characters who were assisting Shaman Pig.

Issue 3
A large group of Zombie Pigs appear as a part of Captain Badburger's crew. One Minion Pig in particular is notable for getting found near-dead on a raft by Badburger, and being turned into a Zombie through unspecified means. The cover of the book depicts them looking like their Angry Birds Friends counterparts, but their appearance in the comic more so resembles their Angry Birds Epic designs.
Angry Birds: Captain Badburger
Captain Badburger's crew of Zombie Pirates make their return in this book. In spite of being Badburger's main crew, they largely take a back seat for the story. The only time they come into play is when they take part in a battle in the Cobalt Plateaus, where they get brutally beaten by The Flock. On the book's final illustration, a large quantity of Zigs can be seen watching The Flock from the trees, implying some of Badburger's crew got stranded on Piggy Island after the battle.
Trivia
- They are the only pigs in Angry Birds Friends to still keep their original design despite almost every design being changed in 2017.
- Their point color when defeated in Angry Birds Friends is purple instead of green.
- The zombie pig will keep the same size as the pig that was previously popped.
