Piggles is an aspiring pilot who makes his only appearance in the third A Pig From The Stars book. He's a Minion Pig who, though the aid of The Pilot and Mechanic Pig, is able to create a real flying machine.
Appearance[]
The only thing that sets Piggles apart from garden variety Minion Pigs is the scarf, headgear, and goggles he dawns when flying. Other than that he's identical to the other Minions.
Personality[]
Being a big dreamer, Piggles desires nothing more than to fly. He's small and easy to push around, but is also personable and persuasive. Even after crashing a plane, he's so happy about flying that he just decides to rebuild and fly it again.

If Pigs Could Fly[]
Piggles is in attendance for the big air show, and is absolutely mesmerized by the plane's flight. Once the show ends, Piggles goes to meet The Pilot, only to find that the plane was held up by strings and a pully the whole time, and wasn't actually flying. According to The Pilot, Foreman Pig couldn't actually figure out how to make a vehicle that could fly.
After hearing this, Piggles gets the idea to make a flying machine himself. He recruits The Pilot to drive, Mechanic Pig to build it, and has the machine ready for launch the next day. He and The Pilot take off, but realize too late that there's no gas. They crash, but had so much fun flying that they decide to rebuild it and fly again.
Relationships[]
Minion Pigs[]
Piggles doesn't seem well respected among Minion Pig society. He has an unnamed friend, but is pushed around by other pigs fairly easily.
The Pilot[]
The Pilot is initially dismissive of Piggles when he first meets him, but is still willing to give him a chance when he offers to make a flying machine. He and Piggles ultimately fly the plane together, and seem to enjoy each other's company by the end.
Mechanic Pig[]
While Piggles is able to convince Mechanic Pig to help him make a flying machine fairly easily, the mechanic seems fairly exasperated with him by the end of the story, even more so when he's approached with the dismantled remains of the plane he had spent a night building.
