2017 is the eighth year of the Angry Birds franchise.

- February 16: The final version of Angry Birds Fight! is released.
- March 2–11: Angry Birds Islands releases as a beta in Korea for Android.
- April 13: Angry Birds Islands soft-launches in some Asian countries.
- June 15: Angry Birds Evolution is released worldwide.
- June 26: Angry Birds Islands' Facebook (now Meta) page announced the game would be cancelled on June 27.
- June 27: Angry Birds Fight!'s Facebook (now Meta) page announced the Kiteristu servers would shut down in November. The post was deleted later.
- June 27: Angry Birds Islands's IAPs are disabled, and the game is removed from the Google Play Store and App Store.
- July 27: The servers for Angry Birds Islands are shut down.
- August 1: Angry Birds Fight! is removed from the Google Play Store and the App Store.
- August 1: Angry Birds Fight's Twitter account showed the same message and the message on Facebook was put back up.
- August 30: Angry Birds Match is released worldwide.
- August 1 to November 15 (inclusive): Angry Birds Fight!'s Facebook (now Meta) account and the Twitter account were deleted.
- August 1 to November 15 (inclusive): Angry Birds Fight!'s daily challenges were disabled.
- November 15: The servers for Angry Birds Fight! are shut down.
