Throw axes into the lanes either side of you and they will embed in the ground. If you can reach the axe in time, you'll throw it again!

The Berserker's Axes is an Item Box power-up that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series
Description [ ] The Berserker's Axes' icon takes the form of a spinning axe, which leaves the blue aura trail. In gameplay, the Berserker's Axes will become two aforementioned spinning axes, which go forward down the track before they settle into a stationary.
Overview [ ] In gameplay, the Berserker's Axes can only be obtained at random from Item Boxes by Valhalla Surge . As with most other Items, Metal Sonic and Metal Sonic Mach 3.0 can also use the Berserker's Axes if they use the Steal Item, or Fortune Teller Amy if she uses Lucky Draw or Wall of Cards to steal it from the aforementioned user.
Once obtained, the player can utilize the Berserker's Axes by pressing its icon on the bottom of the HUD. When used, the user fires two axes down both side lanes it was deployed on in front of the user. As it moves forward, the Berserker's Axes will pass through any obstacle. After traveling down its lane for about one second though, the shot will stop up and assume its stationary form. If a rival character touches the Berserker's Axes' stationary form, they will take damage, causing them to lose Rings , stop for a moment and lose one of randomly power-ups they currently have, which presented in their item slots on the bottom of the HUD. If the axes manage to hit anyone when it travels down the lane before stopping, they will take damage at those points as well. In addition, if the user passes through one of both axes' stationary forms, the user will throw them again within the same distance. However, re-thrown axes will be disabled if touches the obstacles or Badniks. To avoid the Berserker's Axes, the playable character has to either step out of its lane or jump over it.
The Berserker's Axes can also be upgraded by leveling the user up to level 6 and 12 respectively. For each upgrade, the Berserker's Axes will increase the damage dealt.
Trivia [ ] Prior to 5.3.0 update, it is possible for the Berserker's Axes re-thrown axes to pass through obstacles.
