Kinect Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure, is a 2012 Xbox 360 Kinect video game developed by Asobo Studio and published by Microsoft Studios.[1] It lets players jump into the worlds of several Pixar films: Toy Story, The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, and Up.
The game was remastered for Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2017, renamed to Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure. The remastered one adds traditional controller support, 4K and HDR graphics, and a new world based on Finding Dory.
The player creates an avatar of themselves by using the Kinect sensor to scan themselves and choose options such as glasses, shape of hair and eye color. In each world, your avatar is changed into a different thing: A superhero in The Incredibles, a rat in Ratatouille, an explorer in Up, a toy robot in Toy Story, and a car in Cars. The player also tries to collect coins and a best time to get points to unlock extras in the levels such as a new buddy, new goals, new special abilities, and bonus concept art.
Throughout the levels, the player uncovers secret areas that may require special abilities and buddies. In these secret areas, the player finds a Buddy Coin. When all 4 Buddy Coins are collected in a level, the player gets to play as one of the characters in that level.
Depending on how many points the player gets in a level, a medal is awarded, either a Bronze, a Sliver, a Gold (7000 points or more), or a Platinum (8000 points or more).

When the player collects 4 hidden Buddy Coins in a level in the hidden areas and heights, they are able to play as one of the characters in that level.
The game received mixed reviews from both critics and audience alike. Metacritic gives it a 68.[2]

The billboard of Harryhausen's again appears in the Bomb Squad level of Cars.
When the player is a male, their avatar as a car is the same car model as Lewis Hamilton. When the player is female, it is the same car model as Carla Veloso.
Although Charles Muntz was killed in Up, he is alive in the game and the dogs are still fighting against the player when they presumably become good at the end of the film. It could be that he survived the fall in the film, and used some other dogs.
When the player starts the game, the birds from For the Birds can be seen in the beginning cutscene.
This is the second time Owen Wilson returns to voice Lightning McQueen in a video game.
The game uses concepts that were cut from the final versions of the films, like the characters Celine and Twitch from Ratatouille, an expanded Tokyo race course from Cars 2, and a scene where an Omnidroid jumps from skyscraper to skyscraper from The Incredibles.[3]
Due to the SAG voice actors strike, Ellen DeGeneres was not able to voice Dory for the updated version of the game and the only option the development team had was to release the game with a voice-less Dory. When the strike ended, they only had 3 days to get Ellen in the studio before finishing the new level.[4]
Finding Dory is the only world in the game where players only play as one of the two original Finding Dory characters and not as a different form of their avatar.
