Disney Dreamlight Valley, also known as just Dreamlight Valley, is a life simulation-adventure video game published by Gameloft. It features locations, characters, objects, and cameos from various Disney and Pixar films. It was announced on April 27, 2022. Early access started on September 6, 2022.[1] Early access ended and the game received its full release on December 5, 2023,[1][2] along with a base game update, The Pumpkin King Returns.[3] Its first paid expansion, A Rift in Time, was also released the same day.[2][3] Its second paid expansion, The Storybook Vale, was released on November 20, 2024.

- This game marks Pat Carroll's final performance as Ursula, as she passed away a month before its release.
- Despite being launched the respective releases of all four Toy Story movies, no characters introduced in the Toy Story sequels are currently included. Woody and Buzz are the only Toy Story characters in the game and both of them with introduced in the original Toy Story. However, drawings of Dolly, Peas in a Pod, Buttercup, Trixie, and Mr. Pricklepants can be seen in the Toy Story realm, along with a picture of Bonnie.
- Certain text in the game is written in the language of Atlantean from Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Alongside that, the giant stone guardians that protected the inner city of Atlantis in the film can be seen standing watch in the distance with their arms outstretched from Ancient's Landing on Eternity Isle in the "Rift In Time" DLC. Costumes based on Milo and Audrey can be purchased at Scrooge's store.
- This game features similar friendship system to the one from Disney Heroes: Battle Mode. Both include level-up system and quests to complete. Difference being friendship system in Disney Heroes: Battle Mode is between two Disney characters and not between player and a Disney character.
- This is the first time in which none of the principal actors from the Frozen films reprised their roles.
- This is also the second time Jake Green served as a voice double (in this case for Josh Gad as Olaf). The first one being The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild, where he replaced John Leguizamo as Sid.
- Jess Harnell, rather than Dwayne Johnson, voices Maui.
- This is also one of the few times that Sarah Silverman did not reprise her role as Vanellope Von Schweetz, and was replaced by her sister, Laura Silverman. This is similar to how Woody is voiced by Tom Hanks' brother Jim Hanks whenever Tom is unavailable.
- Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida, and Moana are currently the only Disney Princesses in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

- Also, Aurora is set to appear in the ongoing Storybook Vale expansion pass.

- WALL-E and EVE's dialogue is archived audio from the original film.
- The Storybook Vale is the third time to have relationship between Maleficent and Hades, after the House of Mouse episode, Halloween With Hades, and the Descendants franchise.
- This game reveals that Gaston is illiterate, as shown in his journal notes, and that he secretly feels lonely without LeFou.
- Scrooge's reminiscing of an adventure he had in the Klondike is a reference to the comic Back to the Klondike.
- Goofy's fishing animation resembles his Perfect Cast movements from A Goofy Movie.
- When the Player asks Mickey about his past, the topic choices are steamboat captain, sorcerer's apprentice, and musketeer.
- Merlin, Mirabel, Fairy Godmother, Oswald, Tiana, Stitch, Merida, all Little Mermaid characters, all Nightmare Before Christmas characters, all Tangled characters, and all Mickey & Friends characters are the only characters who do not have a realm to visit.
