Joan Mary Cusack is an American actress, voice actress, and comedian, who is best known for her roles as Cynthia in the 1988 romantic comedy-drama film Working Girl and Emily Montgomery in the 1997 comedy film In & Out. She is also well-known for her other starring film roles, including Addams Family Values (1993), Runaway Bride (1999), School of Rock (2003), and Ice Princess (2005).
For Disney, she voiced Jessie in Disney•Pixar's Toy Story franchise, as well as Abby Mallard in the 2005 Disney animated feature film Chicken Little. She also played Hazel Huffman in the 1999 Touchstone Pictures film Cradle Will Rock, Inga Gunther in Mr. Wrong, Gloria in Two Much, Liz in High Fidelity, Jane Bloomwood in Confessions of a Shopaholic, Marcella in Grosse Pointe Blank, Jenny Portman in Raising Helen, and Fanny Nash in The Last Shot. Additionally, she voiced Glenda Wilkins in the Phineas and Ferb episode "Last Train to Bustville".

Trivia
- Before Joan Cusack had been even chosen to voice Jessie in Toy Story 2, her younger brother, John, was one of the many actors originally considered for the voice role of Woody in Toy Story before Tom Hanks was cast.[citation needed]
- Aside from voicing Jessie in the Toy Story franchise, Cusack is also known for her role as Principal Rosalie "Roz" Mullins in the 2003 Paramount Pictures comedy film School of Rock.
