Trivia[]
- Illuminate! is the first fireworks show in a "Magic Kingdom" style park to include elements from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
- Although Disney Movie Magic and World of Color: Celebrate! included elements from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they were not performed at "Magic Kingdom" style parks, instead being performed at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney California Adventure respectively.
- Since its debut in 2021, Illuminate! held the record for most franchises featured in a fireworks show (with a total of 34 featured), until Wondrous Journeys surpassed it with a total of 52 featured in 2023.
- The show also used lights from Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Fantasia Carousel and lights used for parade.
- Thus, it becomes the fourth fireworks show to have multiple stages after Disneyland Forever, Mickey's Mix Magic and Together Forever: A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular at Disneyland.
- Unlike other hybrid-nighttime castle shows, the show contains lighting, projection mapping and water fountains as major elements, and pyrotechnics only as the additional elements.
- This is due to the environmental protection and air emission law by the Shanghai government, which also affected Ignite the Dream and caused Shanghai Disneyland to reduce the fireworks.
