~ Noodle Burger Boy's catchphrase.
Noodle Burger Boy is a major antagonist in Big Hero 6: The Series. He is the robotic mascot of the Noodle Burger restaurant chain, who is later reprogrammed by Obake to become one of his minions.
Noodle Burger Boy is a robot, although his appearance resembles a anthropomorphic cartoon hamburger where two blocks of ramen replace buns, meat with a simple face drawn on it. that and lettuce hair. His head is larger than his body and wears red overalls with a white shirt underneath, as well as plain black shoes. His eyes are black but turn blue when scanning a customer and instead turn red after Obake steals him and altered his program.
Every part on top of his burger can rotate 360 deggrees. The top ramen block can open up so he can remove items like stickers or comment cards from within his head. It can also release vapors under the block below. He has canisters of ketchup and mustard under his "fingers" (he just has a round cartoon hand the size of his thumb) and three holes in his hand to secrete syrup. The Krei Industries logo is printed on one leg of his robotic body.
Like the other robots, he requires a recharge every now and then and uses the charging station for this, although it doesn't seem like he needs to be deactivated in order to be recharged.
Personality[]
Noodle Burger Boy is programmed with a positive, fun, childish attitude. Combined with his purpose as a restaurant mascot and waiter, his vocabulary mainly consists of restaurant terms and he has always enjoyed serving customers and make them satisfied. To achieve this, he used a prediction algorithm that allows him to know what regular customers like and guess what they will order. After Obak reprogrammed him with one of his chips, Noodle Burger Boy retained his basic personality, but his purpose was turned into malice and served his new master , so he'll continue to use the same old restaurant terms and childish ways - but now to commit crimes or fend off opponents. The only time Noodle Burger Boy shows sadness/fear is when he has to report his failed mission to Obake.
Because of these traits, he can sometimes become irritable with his acquaintances, such as Globby, who resented his constant use of food metaphors; Obake, because he asks him overly curious questions, and laughs childishly when Momakase tells Globby his breath smells like garbage. Also, when Go Go utters the pre-battle saying "Let's dance", Noodle Burger Boy considers this to be true as he begins to dance while singing (which also annoys Momakase), despite the tense circumstances. straightness and presence of Big Hero 6.
Over time, Noodle Burger Boy's program has evolved a bit:
he will become so attached to Obake that he begins to refer to him as his "father"; Broadly speaking, he also considers Trina his sister because she was actually designed to play Obake's daughter. Although Obake never seemed to act like that towards him, Trina began to consider Noodle Burger Boy her "little brother". Even after Obake's disappearance, Noodle Burger Boy remained loyal to him as he saved Trina, the two later seeking revenge for his father, growing closer while together plotting to take over San Fransokyo in a robot revolution and eliminate humans altogether. Trina's plan was eventually thwarted by Big Hero 6, but Noodle Burger Boy managed to escape capture again when he was pulled from the fight just before Trina was defeated.
This makes Noodle Burger Boy a bit more independent as he no longer has any family members or anyone else to serve under, but he resented this fact, blaming Big Hero 6 about it and was jealous when they became a happy family when he did not have one of his own. To take their place, Noodle Burger Boy formed his own family consisting of three reprogrammed robot sisters, leading him to become the "big brother". He continues to map out his own ways to subvert humans, though they never succeed due to the childish origins of his program.
Additionally, after losing Obake and Trina, Noodle Burger Boy became more protective of his new sisters, as he was willing to team up with Baymax and Mini-Max just to save them, as chooses abandon his plans he doesn't want to risk getting them being caught by Big Hero 6, even rushing to Crushroom's aid while she's alone and defeated by some of the heroes.
Biography[]
In "Killer App", Noodle Burger Boy is first seen handing out orders to customers while Hiro, Baymax, Fred and Wasabi are at the restaurant. He then serves Fred his predicted custom burger while Fred introduces him to Wasabi and Hiro. He scanned the latter two but was unable to predict their orders as they were new to his database, but claimed he couldn't wait to meet both while holding on to their customer profiles. Later that night, Obake breaks into Noodle Burger to both reprogram and abduct Noodle Burger Boy.
The next day, Noodle Burger Boy hijacks a street car to lure in Big Hero 6, and scans them unnoticed while they are saving the day. Fred soon discovers that Noodle Burger Boy has vanished and goads GoGo and Honey Lemon into searching for him. While they investigate, Noodle Burger Boy arrives and kicks Fred away before engaging GoGo and Honey Lemon. However, due to having scanned them before, Noodle Burger Boy is able to predict their moves, although he is unable to defeat them and gets away on his go-kart. Later, when Fred, GoGo and Honey Lemon return to Fred's mansion, they find that Noodle Burger Boy had left a mark on Fred's suit during their fight, and that it bears the Krei Tech logo.
Fred, GoGo and Honey Lemon then go to Krei Tech, where Alistair Krei explains that his company constructed Noodle Burger Boy based on the schematics of an abandoned military robot project, and that he is thus totally indestructible. Meanwhile, Noodle Burger Boy searches for parts in the junkyard to upgrade himself, and comes across the bickering Hiro and Wasabi, who came to test their mech suit designed to collect space junk. After scanning the two, Noodle Burger Boy captures Baymax using a crane and takes control of the mech, chasing Hiro and Wasabi off.
Fred, GoGo and Honey Lemon face off with Noodle Burger Boy at the dump. However, he overcomes them rather easily with his prediction algorithm combined with the mech's abilities. Hiro and Wasabi soon arrive to help their friends, having switched their suits around to overcome Noodle Burger Boy's prediction algorithm. He is then forced to fight the heroes with brute force alone, although Hiro manages to slice through the mech's legs, allowing GoGo to capture Noodle Burger Boy with a net. This doesn't hold him for long, however, and he escapes in his go-kart before Baymax can warn the group of him doing so. Noodle Burger Boy returns to Obake's lair, saddened that he failed Obake's "order". Obake then asks if he acquired the data he asked for, and, learning that he did, he claims that he didn't fail. Obake plugs Noodle Burger Boy into his computer, extracting the scanned data he had taken of Big Hero 6, thus gaining knowledge of their secret identities.
In "Kentucky Kaiju", after planting doubt into Hiro's mind through Globby, Obake sends Noodle Burger Boy to test how he has acted on this doubt. Noodle Burger Boy causes havoc in the city using a new mech, however, he is easily defeated and driven off by Hiro, who decided to use a Nano-Dex suit to give himself super-strength. Noodle Burger Boy is seen with Globby and Obake back at the latter's lair, where he is disappointed to find that Hiro has upgraded himself with the "obvious" choice of super-strength. When Globby says he would've given himself laser eyes, Noodle Burger Boy shows off his own laser eyes, annoying Obake further.
Later, Noodle Burger Boy attacks Fred when he shows off his Kentucky Kaiju robot to his friends, and soon takes control of the robot and rampages throughout San Fransokyo. He plants a CPU chip inside the Kentucky Kaiju robot and soon leaves Big Hero 6 to deal with it as Hiro closes in on him. After defeating the robot using nothing but his intelligence, Hiro finds the CPU chip, deducing that Noodle Burger Boy couldn't have made it himself, and, recalling that Globby was only trying to get into his head, realizes that both villains are working for someone else. Noodle Burger Boy is then present as Obake explains that his true plan was to test Hiro's intelligence.
In "Steamer's Revenge", Noodle Burger Boy is seen spying on Big Hero 6 with Obake via a camera hidden in Fred's room. After the team watches the film reel Baron Von Steamer had sent to them to challenge Boss Awesome to a fight, he remarks to Obake that that "old-timey guy" is really going to interfere with his plan, but Obake is unconcerned, as Big Hero 6 lives for stopping villains. Later, Noodle Burger Boy pesters Obake with questions when he is converting water into D2O in order to use it as fuel, resulting in him being shut down by the latter.
In "Obake Yashiki", Noodle Burger Boy is sent to steal a shipment crate from Krei Industries, and is confronted by Big Hero 6. While he manages to overpower the other members, he is stopped by Hiro and Baymax, who prepare to defeat him and return the crate. However, Hiro ends up being distracted when he sees his deceased brother Tadashi standing nearby, allowing Noodle Burger Boy to escape. The next day, Big Hero 6 tracks Noodle Burger Bot down to an abandoned building, where he reveals to them that he had stolen a shipment of Krei's B.U.D.D.Y. Guards, which, using their flexible display technology, he makes take the appearance of several dumplings. He then stands on the side and watches as his new "minions" handle the heroes, and, once they are all restrained, he escapes with them.
Soon enough, he resurfaces with the drones at SFIT to steal it's new hyperconductive magnet. Although Big Hero 6 suits up to stop him, they are distracted by visions of their individual greatest fears (Fred's being arachnophobia, Honey Lemon's hippos, GoGo's leprechauns and Wasabi's heights), all while Hiro confronts "Tadashi" at Mr. Ohare's House of Scares, whom he realizes is merely an illusion projected through reality-augmenting lenses Obake had secretly placed on them while they were inside the House of Scares previously. Despite the other Big Hero 6 members realizing that their fears aren't real too, Noodle Burger Boy gets away with the magnet and delivers it to Obake's lair. Pleased, Obake tells his minion that the magnet "will do nicely" while making preparations for his final plan.
