Bright Man's Stage is a stage that appeared in Mega Man 4, Mega Man IV, and Mega Man (Game Gear) that has Bright Man as the boss.
Appearances[]
Mega Man 4[]
Bright Man's Stage takes place inside a lightning control system, with electric grids lining up the walls and floors. A duo of enemies early on in the stage will be in control of the lights, and interacting with these enemies can turn the stage completely pitch-black, only revealing the player, enemies, projectiles, and platforms. There are 2 large spike-filled rooms that can only be crossed by riding Battans, friendly grasshoppers unique to this stage. Once the player gets on a Battan's back, he will hop forward twice/thrice (with either a short or long jump) and then turn around, which forces the player to jump to the next Battan to progress. Sometimes, a Battan may jump into a pit, so players can't stand on them in this case. At the final room of the stage (and in the optional dead end path), there are 2 platforms unique to this stage. Found on these structures that contain a half-circle rail, both of them remain stationary until stood on, in which they will start travelling along the rail. The red platforms will immediately fall off and go straight down once they reach the end, while the green platforms will continuously go back and forth.

Valuable pickups to look out for:
- 1-UP: After the 5 Minoans, there is an optional dead end path that can be accessed by climbing down a ladder. The player will simply have to jump across 4 platforms to reach the end; they are red, red, red, green. At the end is this pickup and the E-Tank together. Getting out can be tricky without Rush Jet, as you'll either have to do 4-tile jumps across the pits or use Rush Coil to reach the red platforms.
- E-Tank: Coupled with the 1-UP.
Mega Man IV[]
Bright Man's Stage in the GB demake once again takes place inside a lightning control system. The stage this time puts a much bigger emphasis on the lights going on and off, with the enemy duo controlling the lights being much more common throughout the stage. There is even a unique gimmick dedicated to directly turning the lights on and off, via a lever in the background. There are two rooms that features these levers, and once the lights are manually turned off (which also obscures the player UI), illuminated platforms come into position for Mega Man to traverse. They remain stationary, but when they are stood on, they move up and down within a set range, pausing briefly at the peaks of their range. They also stop moving if Mega Man is not standing on them, so Mega Man should use this movement to his advantage for traversing. Switching the lights back on with another lever causes these platforms to disappear. Another unique gimmick is introduced in the Guts Hover, a friendly platform who remains stationary and appears in two rooms. When stood on, he moves forward while descending, and flies straight up when the player jumps off, until he reaches max height. The player should be cautious as not to sink the Guts Hover down into a bottomless pit or spikes, which destroy the Guts Hover. Lastly, the half-circle platforms return and are unique to this stage, though due to the GB's color limitations, they all exhibit the behavior of the green platform and go back and forth, though they do rest in place at the ends of their trail for a longer time.

Valuable pickups to look out for:
- P-Chips: A total of 22 P-Chips (1 large and 7 small) can be found and collected within this stage.
- Mini E-Tank : In the first room with a Minoan, on a higher-up platform that requires Rush Coil or Ring Boomerang to reach it.
- 1-UP: During the first Guts Hover room, this pickup and a small health rest on a platform. There is no consequence of getting these as the Guts Hover will not abandon the player.
- Plate: In the room with half-circle platforms, it is floating in the air above the fourth platform. It is easily reachable with a jump, but make sure to destroy any 100 Wattans that may get in your way before jumping to grab it.
