Scworm (スクワーム Sukuwāmu) is an enemy in Mega Man 2. It appears in Flash Man's stage, Air Man's stage, Quick Man's stage, and in the first section of Dr. Wily's castle. They tend to shoot up distorted iron pipes that hop out. Mega Man would need a low hitting weapon to destroy the source. The pipes themselves self-destruct eventually, or they can be shot.
They appear in Ice Man's Stage, as well as both Wily Stages in Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge. They also appear in Air Man's stage in Mega Man II and in the Wily Stage (reuse of Quick Man's Stage) in Mega Man for the Game Gear.

Scworm in Mega Man Network Transmission[]
Scworms appear as viruses in Mega Man Network Transmission. They act the same as the original. They are in an obscure section of the Bank Comp, so it is possible for players to continue through the game without even seeing one.

Trivia[]
- Scworm's name is probably derived from the word "squirm".
- In the Navi Mode from Mega Man: Anniversary Collection, Roll says "From here onward, it's all squirms" in the area with Scworms in Wily Stage 1.
- Scworm was set to appear in Mega Man Universe.
