The Time Di'Alla (Monolith) is one of the three Di'Allas from Izel's Realm. It can transport individuals and objects across time.
History[]
- "It takes you through time, but to the same place."
- âLeo Fitz[src]
Since Di'Allas were needed to open a portal between the two dimensions so that the inhabitants of the Fear Dimension could take physical form by possessing bodies, Pachakutiq tasked Izel with open the portal with the help of them in the Temple of the Forgotten. However, the Di'Allas were stolen from Izel, and believing they left the planet, she ventured across the galaxy searching for them.[1]
Later, Time Di'Alla was stored along with the Creation and Space Di'Alla in the S.H.I.E.L.D. facility, the Lighthouse.[2]
It was used by Enoch to transport Phil Coulson, Melinda May, Jemma Simmons, Daisy Johnson, Alphonso Mackenzie and Yo-Yo Rodriguez to the Lighthouse in the year 2091.[3][4]
When the Kree Beacon exploded in the technology storage, it destroyed the three Monoliths. The destruction of the three created a rift to the Fear Dimension,[5] which was sealed by Phil Coulson, using the Gravity Containment Device. Only a fragment was left from the Time Di'Alla for Simmons to keep.[6] The fragment was later destroyed by Melinda May once the Destruction of Earth had been averted.[7]
The Gravity Containment Device with the energy of Di'Allas inside was found by Izel who stole it from S.H.I.E.L.D., intending to reconstruct the Di'Allas. Arriving at the Temple, Izel used Alphonso Mackenzie and Yo-Yo Rodriguez to manifest Flint, and took control over his body and geokinesis abilities and rebuilt the Di'Allas. Izel then used the Di'Allas to open the gateway to the Fear Dimension, so Second prepared to unleash their civilization on Earth, using the fragment of Time Di'Alla. However, the Second was killed by Melinda May, while both Izel and Sarge were stopped by S.H.I.E.L.D., and the portal was closed. S.H.I.E.L.D. agents then took a fragment of the Time Di'Alla with them. The rest of the Time Di'Alla was then buried under rubble when the Temple of the Forgotten was destroyed.[1]
After Piper and Flint escaped, FitzSimmons and Enoch got on their Quinjet and told then to return to the temple. After they arrived, Flint recreated a fragment of the Di'Allas and placed it in the Time Drive.[8]

Destroyed Earth[]
- "Some of us aren't getting out of here on a magic rock."
- âDeke Shaw to S.H.I.E.L.D.[src]
Following the Destruction of Earth, the fragment eventually came into the possession of Alya Shaw, but following her death, her husband, Owen Shaw, kept it with him. His son, Deke Shaw, begged him to give him the fragment so he could have something to remember his mother by, but Owen told him he could not trust him with that. After Owen was exiled to Earth's surface, he kept the fragment with him. However, after he was killed by his friend Samuel Voss, the latter kept it to himself.
When the team arrived to the True Believers headquarters, Zephyr One, they found the Time Di'Alla fragment.[9] The fragment was split into two halves by Deke.[10] One half was used by Enoch, who placed it in the Isochronus Cyclotron, while the other half was used by Flint, who by the help of Jemma Simmons, was able to recreate an entire new Time Di'Alla, using a fragment of the old one and limestone derived from rocks in space. Enoch sacrificed his life active the Time Di'Alla, sending the team, including Deke, back in time.[11]
