Chapter 126

Hand Picked Troops is the 126th chapter of the Kingdom manga.

Summary[]

The Zhao HQ notices Shin and his 30 people managed to get near them. The other ones are still fighting the Zhao bodyguards. Shin was forced to use half of his men as a shield in order to get this far. En tells Shin that in order to get to the HQ and be able to slay Fuu Ki, they need to split the unit in half. Shin however is unwilling to do this ad the ones left behind will be annihilated. En simply stated that this is fine as their objective is not to slay every enemy, nor it is to return home with everyone alive. It is all about taking Fuu Ki head.

En volunteers to lead the group that will stay behind. Taku Kei tells shin this is ok and that he needs to go. He then tells when he breaks trough, they will disengage and make a retreat. Shin then reluctantly agrees to this and calls for the able man, naming Hai Rou, Den Ei, Suu Gen, Kyo Gai, Ryuu Yuu, Hou, Den Yuu, Ryuu Sen and Bi Tou. He orders them to take their squad and follow him. He then asks where Kyou Kai is as then runs towards him and jumps on his horse.

In the actual battle Kyou Kai slays the enemy captain with ease an everyone is chocked to see this. The front unit is having a hard time getting past the HQ before last defence, surely because of their only 30 men size. Finally its come to the last defence with 30 vs 300. Shin then orders the charge and everyone in his unit is getting fired up once again. This is because this will be the last fight for today. The Zhao army is calling for their Infantry as a last resort. Fuu Ki is having an internal dialogue on why they made it here. He then gets excited as this is hs first time he getting pressed by an enemy.
