Appointment is the 111th chapter of the Kingdom manga.
Summary[]
In a flashback is shown that Ou Ki told Shin that his training is put on hold as something came up. He tells them a war has broken out.
Everyone is shocked to see Ou Ki in the throne room and then Ei Sei suddenly sees Shin next to Ou Ki. Mou Bu is displeased with the situation and walks towards Ou Ki and tells him to piss of. Ou Ki laughs this treat off and states than he was invited. However, nobody believes that until Shou Hei Kun tells all of them he was the one who invited him. Shou Hei Kun called him in order to make General Ou Ki the Commander in Chief of the army against Zhao. Mou Bu challenges this rule but is quiet down by Shou Hei Kun for the same reasons Shou Bun Kun told earlier. Seeing this decision, Mou Bu turns to leave while telling Ou Ki that he refuses to acknowledge the general's legend, but the Monstrous Bird simply brushes it off and tells Mou Bu that he has acknowledged his strength to a certain extent.
Ou Ki then asks everyone to vacate the hall as he wants to appoint by the ancient's law of Qin. Ei Sei and Ou Ki are now alone, and the former asks why this obvious lie. Ou Ki asks the young king if he remembers their meeting last time during his brother's rebellion. Ei Sei tells him what Ou Ki told him last time that you must obtain the strength to back up your words. Ei Sei then asks Ou Ki if he remembers what he told him last time, to accept King Shou death. Ou Ki states that it is unfortunate that he couldn't see personally the exemplary king Shou. Ou Ki then tells that he has a message for Ei Sei from the late king and War God, Shou.
