Renegade Nell

Renegade Nell, formally titled The Ballad of Renegade Nell, is a British Swashbuckler adventure series. It was released on Disney+.

Synopsis[]

Nell Jackson finds herself framed for murder and becomes a female highwayman in eighteenth-century England. She becomes the most feared highwaywoman in the country. But when a magical spirit called Billy Blind appears, Nell realizes her destiny is bigger than she ever imagined.

Production[]

On April 15, 2021, the series was announced by Disney+. Sally Wainwright serves as executive producer and writer. Faith Penhale and Will Johnston also serve as executive producers.^[1] The series is produced by Lookout Point, and consists of eight episodes.^[2]

On July 30, 2024, the series was cancelled after one season.^[3]
