Droplet Pitchersacks appear in Pikmin: Dual Worlds in a few areas, mostly in Latitude Lavaflow and Daybreak Desert, as well as some caves. The water within its sac can be used to, among other things, cool down hot rocks for a time, provide to plants, nullify an enemy's fire attacks, douse fires, except ones created by lubricant, which will end very poorly, or act as a distraction. It can easily be grabbed off the vine by Pikmin, allowing it to be thrown at whatever is desired. The water it releases upon bursting may splash on Pikmin, causing them to drown if they aren't whistled soon after. It has larger variants such as the Overflowing Pitchersack and Rainmaker Pitchersack, as well as an acidic variant known as the Corrosive Pitchersack.
