Chairman Chi Cho is the main antagonist of the episode "Trespass" in the 2008-2020 animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He was the former Chairman of Pantora in the Star Wars Universe.
He was voiced by Brian George, who also portrayed King Katuunko.
History[]
As the chairman of the Pantoran Assembly, Chi Cho, was an arrogant and ruthless leader who had no interest in seeking peaceful solutions to his problems. Hoping to use the Jedi as an instrument of blunt force to take back the planet of Orto Plutonia for the Pantorans, Cho and the Jedi accompanying him (Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker) found nothing more than a deserted Separatist base. When it was discovered that a primitive group of Talz had claimed the moon for themselves, Cho almost single-handedly declared war against them and charged into an ill-conceived battle. He met his death at the end of a Talz's spear, dying dumbfounded when the Pantoran Senator, Riyo Chuchi, revealed to him in his final moments that by his actions, he had lost his position as chairman, the Pantoran Assembly having called him out of order for his unprovoked attack on the Talz, who they had bestowed Chuchi with the authority to negotiate peace, leaving Chi Cho to pass away shocked, appalled that the Pantorans were willing to give up Orto Plutonia to the Talz and negotiate peace rather than go to war for the planet.
