The HK-87 Assassin Droids are supporting antagonists in The Mandalorian, Star Wars: Tales of the Empire and Ahsoka. Morgan Elsbeth used this assassin droid model in her forces as bodyguards and enforcers.

Biography[]

Star Wars: Tales of the Empire[]

During the Galactic Empire era, when Morgan Elsbeth became the Magistrate of the forest planet Corvus city of Calodan, she used HK-87 Assassin Droids as guards in the city, and then when the Galactic Empire fell and was replaced by the New Republic, these droids still served Morgan.

The Mandalorian[]

Five years after the Galactic Empire fell and the New Republic took its place, the HK-87 Assassin Droids continued to work for Morgan Elsbeth on Calodan, and when the Mandalorian Din Djarin and Grogu arrived on the planet Corvus in search of the former Jedi, Ahsoka Tano, they joined forces with Ahsoka with and tried to capture Morgan. Working together, Din Djarin and Ahsoka Tano battled these droids and subsequently defeated Morgan Elsbeth and freed Calodan and its inhabitants.

Ahsoka[]

After freeing Calodan, Morgan Elsbeth, freed with the help of the mercenaries Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati, continued to search for Grand Admiral Thrawn, and the HK-87 Droids aided Morgan in that pursuit. Ahsoka encountered a group of these droids on a planet called Arcana after finding a star map that showed the way to Peridea, where Grand Admiral Thrawn has been exiled, and she managed to defeat the group of droids and escape. These droids continued to assist Morgan until Morgan and her forces began traveling to Peridea to retrieve Thrawn from exile.
