Biography[]
Following the death of Count Dooku at the hands of Anakin Skywalker, the Empire began an operation to transfer the late Count's treasure from his palace on Serenno. The captain was then assigned to the planet, overseeing the transfer of the treasure to three Imperial Class Four Cargo Ships.
However, after the departure of the second cargo ship, the rogue clone commando squad Clone Force 99 began infiltrating the final cargo ship to steal a part of the treasure, hoping to pay off their debts and become rich. During their heist, CT-8801, a Clone Stormtrooper was stunned by the rogue squad. With the trooper not reporting in, Wilco then ordered his company to find the missing soldier.
Hunter, the leader of the Bad Batch, then detonated two docked V-Wing starfighters and attacked the distracted captain and his troops along with his squadmate Wrecker. The captain then immediately ordered the launch of the final transport, leading the two rogue clones to hang off the launching transport, only to jump off onto the top of the palace.
Wilco then ordered his men to lock down the entire area, as well as to release all the escape pods of the cargo ship after knowing there were intruders on the vessel. He then continue to pursue Hunter and Wrecker, but ultimate lost them after Wrecker threw a smoke bomb.
The captain then engaged the rogue clones himself. Despite suffering heavy losses during the battle, Wilco still managed to force the Bad Batch to escape from the planet empty handed, as well as recovered eighty percent of the treasure.
The following day, Vice Admiral Rampart arrived on Serenno, and received a report from the captain about the heist. The admiral feared that Governor Tarkin would learn of his failure to eliminate the squad, so he ordered the captain to falsify the report by removing them from it. When Wilco refused the order, Rampart immediately shot him, sending the captain off of a cliff to ensure that his inquiry didn’t reach the governor.

Trivia[]
- His name likely originates from 'wilco', a term used by military personnel over radio communication when affirming orders, as in "will comply". Ironically, his refusal to comply with orders is what costs him his life.
- Wilco's death is strikingly similar to (and possibly even inspired by) Commander Vill's death in the comic series Star Wars: Dark Times.
- Wilco is proof of how valuable the clones could be to the Empire: he's extremely competent, able and perceptive - while the Bad Batch escape him it's by the skin of their teeth, and he forces them to abandon their goal to do so, something few antagonists have accomplished - and is unflinchingly loyal, exactly what Rampart claimed to want. However, he is also proof of how expendable Imperials see them no matter how worthy they are: in the end, he's killed not for being disloyal, but for simply being so loyal that it inconveniences Rampart's personal ambitions.
