Synopsis[]
Arlo informs John about the authorities' willingness to rendezvous with Seraphina to help remove her 'wanted' status. John is surprised and pleased with this and rushes to Darren's apartment to break the news. Seraphina however, is suspicious about the apparent ease of the developments, so Leilah suggests that they hold the meeting in a public place, and have her and Kayden as backup. Though John wants to help as well, Leilah vetoes this by saying that without his full strength, he'd be a liability.
Darren emerges from his room, and while disgruntled at seeing John at his home, hands him a tonic he worked on, hoping to unclog John's aura channels. John consumes the sample hurriedly, but doesn't observe any change in his condition, even after several hours. John seems dejected, and Seraphina tries to cheer him up by saying that after this, they should visit William. They remark that the return of Unordinary in the guise of 'Untitled' has spawned many vigilantes that EMBER is struggling to deal with.
At the end of the day, Kayden teleports John back to Wellston. That night, Leilah finds Darren busy at work trying to fix the tonic. She comforts him and tells him to be more forgiving to himself.
