VoyagerWP (ボイジャー?), Class Name Foreigner (フォーリナー, Fōrinā?), is a Foreigner-class Servant summoned by Ritsuka Fujimaru in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order.
Profile[]
Identity[]
After completing its studies of Jupiter, Saturn, and various other planets in the Solar System, Voyager began its endless journey through interstellar space. Even now he still travels through the sea of stars in places outside the boundaries of our Solar System.[1]
Voyager is still a very young Servant, in two different senses of the word. He's a Heroic Spirit from the extremely historically shallow present era, and has the body of an 8-year-old boy. Although he's actually an aggregation of aluminum alloy observation tools, he acquired a Saint Graph equal to a human in order to properly communicate with his Master and fight the Holy Grail War until the very end. As a downside to this miracle, the general knowledge installed in him was lacking, his vocabulary is a bit insufficient, and his body is not anything we could call robust. His general appearance takes a huge subjective influence from Erice, a Master he's deeply connected with.[1]
Appearance[]
His golden scarf is always swinging away.[1] His outer appearance was significantly influenced by the thoughts of his Master Erice Utsumi, whom he shares a deep relationship with.[1]
Personality[]
He's as curious as any space probe should be. He's proactive and wants all kinds of new experiences. Smell and taste are entirely new senses to him, so he's a sucker for good meals and rare desserts. Even in unknown places, he displays an absolute sense of direction and space comprehension. He has excellent hearing and memorizes everything he sees or hears. Although his vocabulary leaves much to be desired, he understands various languages. He loves listening to all kinds of music and can immediately be captivated by live performances. He seems a bit afraid of baths.[1] He enjoys donuts because they resemble Saturn's rings.[2]
He pronounces words with their American pronunciation instead of their Japanese pronunciation, such as "centaur" instead of "kentaurosu" and "Jason" instead of "Iason".[3]
Relationships[]
- Super Orion
- "Orion... The hunter Orion! He really is big! Hey, if you're up to it, could you put me on your shoulders...?"'[4]
- Ivan the Terrible
- "Wow...it's an elephant... That's...no good... We need to stack...elephants... Or else Chaldea would get full fast."[4]
- Nursery Rhyme
- "Nursery told me that my form was based on the wish of the very first Master who summoned me. That means...I need to thank that person. Think about it: If I looked like my normal self, I wouldn't be able to eat donuts."[4]
- Kijyo Koyo
- "Koyo the Berserker is strong, scary, and nice. But sometimes she stares off into space looking lonely. ...Do you think... She had a child a long time ago...?"[4]
- Erice Utsumi
- "The Erice I met before is the same as this one. She's like a thorny plant, and it's hard to water her to nurture her. (Giggle) If it's okay with you, maybe you could be her friend."[4]
- "Erice is the Master who originally summoned me. I even look the way I do because of her, I think. She can be a lot to handle, but since becoming her friend, we've been really happy."[2]
- Erice Utsumi (Voyager's Third Ascension)
- "Utsumi...Erice. Hehe. When she first summoned me, I just obtained this human body. I was like a bratty younger brother, and she was like a troublesome older sister. But now, I might be older than her... (Giggle)"[4]
- Chiron
- "So you're a centaur from myth. Thank you. I rode on your backWP as I was leaving Earth. I know this might just be how I imagined it, but I felt like you were protecting me."[4]
- Jason
- "I told that ship's captain...I told Jason that his boat was the best in the night sky. I told him I was no match against him. He just smiled and said, "Obviously, kid." And then he said, "If you're a boat too, then find a good captain for yourself." Hehe."[4]
- "The greatest "ship" in the night sky is his, of course. I'm not a "ship" in the sense that people can ride on, but my precious cargo I carry will someday reach it's destination."[2]
- Thomas Edison
- "You're wondering why I always bow in admiration to him? How could I not? If it wasn't for his competitive spirit, showmanship, and his reckless sense of adventure, I probably wouldn't have been born. That's essentially how journeys start. And...he never gave up on that attitude until the very end. That's why I bow to him."[4]
- "If it wasn't for his competitive spirit, showmanship, and his reckless sense of adventure, I probably wouldn't have been born. That's essentially how journeys start."[2]
- Captain Nemo
- "Captain Nemo's so cool. He's crucial to the Nautilus. Don't you think a submarine and a spaceship are similar? That's why I feel like I have a friend who has something in common with me, which is encouraging. And on top of it all, there's a bakery on the ship! That's really amazing!"[4]

Abilities[]
Normally being of the Voyager-class, Voyager is summoned as Foreigner in the world of Fate/Grand Order.[3]
He's a Heroic Spirit from the extremely historically shallow present era, and has the body of an 8 years old boy. Although he's actually an aggregation of aluminum alloy observation tools, he acquired a Saint Graph equal to a human in order to proper communicate with his Master and fight the Holy Grail War until the very end. As a downside to this miracle, the general knowledge installed in him was lacking, his vocabulary is a bit unsufficient, and his body is not anything we could call robust. Nevertheless, it is predicted that through his future ascensions at Chaldea he will grow into being one who is suitable to be a guardian of humanity.[1]
Combat[]
In Fate/Grand Order he fights by conjuring cartoony stars in his first and second ascensions, or machinery related to space travel like a satellite dish and a moon buggy in his third ascension.
Skills[]
Class Skills[]
- Existence Outside the Domain (C Rank): Unlike how other Foreigners are "receptacles of Outer Gods", Voyager has acquired the Foreigner class aptitude as an emissary to space built by humanity and sent into the universe.[2]
- Independent Navigation (A Rank): A Skill equivalent to Independent Action. Voyager's original Voyager class has Independent Navigation at EX rank.[2]
- Contact with Civilization (D Rank): A Skill derived from his original Voyager class. It can be said to be a friendly form of Civilization Erosion.[2]
Personal Skills[]
- Voyager of the Stars (A Rank): A limited version of Pioneer of the Stars. A Skill that makes the impossible possible, allowing for planet-to-planet voyaging.[1] Derived from Pioneer of the Stars EX which he has in the Voyager-class.[2]
- Swingby (A Rank): A Skill showcasing special maneuvering abilities in combat. Able to take away an enemy's kinetic energy or even apply kinetic energy to them, this skill allows him to surpass his limits of acceleration and deceleration. He is able to fly freely using this Skill.[1]
- Protection of the Ends of the World (Cosmos) (B→B+ Rank (Upgrade)): Originally a skill connected to the Holy Spear. Resulting from Voyager’s very self holding the qualities of the anchor of the planet which embodies the World’s End.[1]
Noble Phantasm[]
Voyager's Noble Phantasm is Pale Blue Dot. Representing humanity's hopes and possibilities, it encourages his allies and lowers his enemies' will to fight.[2]
Development[]
Creation and Conception[]
Voyager was designed by NOCO in Fate/Grand Order. His scenario writer is Meteo Hoshizora in Fate/Grand Order.[2]
Comment from Illustrator[]
"I was contacted for the Requiem collab happened not long after Requiem went on sale, so I was very taken aback, but also did a little happy dance. I wanted Voyager's Ascension designs to really touch people, so I took great care in making them. His second Ascension is in the style of a certain Prince, while his third is a mix of motifs from space suits + flight jackets with Voyager being a slightly more matured traveler."[2]
