IyoWP (壱与WP?), Class Name Ruler (ルーラー, Rūrā?), is a Ruler-class Servant summoned by Ritsuka Fujimaru in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order.
Profile[]
Background[]
Iyo was Himiko's successor as ruler of YamataikokuWP. She was born in KunakokuWP tainted with the power of eternal darkness. As that power was said to destroy everything that came into contact with it, everyone in Kuna loathed her. That power led Kukochihiko to confine her in a cave completely bereft of light. His plan was to raise her as a shrine maiden and use her as a vessel to summon the Ancestral Beast in their war against Yamataikoku. Nevertheless, this plan was foiled when Himiko freed her and took her as her apprentice.[2]
Oda Nobunaga claims that Iyo's story is similar to Izumo-no-Okuni's, although Iyo's came first since she is from an older era.[2]
Iyo is a figure who is part of the unique history of the World of GUDAGUDA. Certain aspects of the world do not correspond to other Fate Worlds, such as figures related to Himiko.[3]
Appearance[]
Personality[]
Relationships[]
- Himiko
- "Himiko-san, Himiko-san, do you remember your promise? Yes, you said you'd introduce me if I came to Chaldea! Ah! Don't play dumb, please! It's not like it doesn't count at this point! Now now, please introduce me. Introduce me! Introduce me! Introduce me!" [4]
- Sen-no-Rikyu
- Ah! Rikyu-san, Rikyu-san, I have a favor to ask you! Actually, I wanted to ask you about this drink called matcha latte… Eh, huh? What's wrong? You're an expert in tea, aren't you?"[4]
- Yamanami Keisuke
- "By the way, I've been thinking about it since forever, but how to say it, Yamanami-san's so transient. Well, rather than his appearance, it's everything?"[4]
- Morgan
- "Future-san, Future-san, could that be Morgan-san? Hah! As I thought? Well, I heard the stories, but that's an awesome power. Even from afar, that terrific power gives you a shock. I'd like to receive teachings of foreign magecraft for once. Ah look, like at a Morgan classroom!"[4]
Role[]
Fate/Grand Order[]
GUDAGUDA Yamatai-koku[]
By the time of the Singularity, Iyo had passed away without an heir, leaving the country without a proper ruler. Her soul requested Oda Nobunaga to be the fake her like Serizawa Kamo and Kukochihiko want, and bide her time until Himiko returns.
GUDAGUDA Shin Yamatai-koku[]
After the events of the Yamatai-koku Singularity, Iyo stayed behind to guide the Souls of the dead. At some point, she traveled to Shin Yamatai-koku using a temporary Saint Graph. There, she found that many souls had stayed from the right path and been taken prisoner.[5]
Abilities[]
Combat[]
During the events of the Shin Yamatai-koku Singularity, Iyo was rusty in combat due to having spent the last period of her life doing nothing but desk work. Despite this, she still considers her performance against Kukochihiko "pathetic". Similarly, the latter claims that she never stood a chance at defeating him.[6] Since she had manifested using a temporary Saint Graph that didn't qualify as a full Heroic Spirit, the wounds sustained during that first battle left her extremely weakened. It wasn't until she made a Servant contract with Ritsuka Fujimaru that she gained access to a powerful Magical Energy supply that also enabled her to fight at full strength.[7]
Similarly, to Himiko's Himiko Punch, Iyo's special move is called Iyo Kick (壱与キック?).[8] It is powerful enough to kick the Ancestral Beast down the pit of eternal darkness.[10]
Magecraft[]
Iyo was initially taught Magecraft by Kukochihiko.[7] Although she would later become Himiko's apprentice,[2] her talent is nowhere comparable to the latter's. Iyo can't use the power Himiko displayed during the Yamatai-koku Singularity to contact Chaldea.[9]
Skills[]
Class Skills[]
- Magic Resistance (B Rank)
- Territory Creation (B Rank)
- Primitive Limbs (B Rank): Supple and beautiful limbs. A beautiful body that harbors the vitality of primitive humans. Slender body. Stunning leg beauty with beautiful and powerful kicks. Since it is inferior to Himiko in power, it is covered with technology. Unlike Himiko, she has a unique constitution that does not gain weight no matter how much she eats.[1]
- Kuna's Mantra (C Rank): Primordial strengthening Magecraft with the power of the beast passed down in KunakokuWP. It gains power by infusing the Soul of a beast into a person's body. A dangerous Spell that turns you into a beast if you use it too much.[1]
Personal Skills[]
- Kidou (Destruction) (C Rank): Primitive Magecraft. It is said to be the prototype of Shinto. Unlike systematic magic systems, the details are shrouded in mystery. Iyo, who succeeded Himiko, manipulates the same Kidou, but in the first place, Iyo's Kidou is of a different system from Himiko's.[1]
- Oracle of Darkness (B Rank): A counterpart to Himiko's Oracle of Light. Unlike Himiko, who communicates with the stars in the sky, Iyo's unique oracle communicates with the abyss of the earth. Listen to the voice of something dark and deep lurking in the earth and predict the future.[1]
- Shrine Maiden of Ruin (C Rank): Shrine maiden of destruction passed down by Kuna, who is said to be a sign that everything will be destroyed. It is said that everything associated with her will follow her path to destruction. It has nothing to do with Premium Friday.[1] The power of eternal darkness within her forms the very essence of her being. By merely existing, her presence brings Curses, illness, and and destruction upon those around her.[10] Her parents died because of her. Everyone in her village died of disease. If she hadn't been born, they wouldn't have died prematurely.[2]
Noble Phantasm[]
Iyo's Noble Phantasm is the Twilit Jewel of the Moon. As the Shrine Maiden of Ruin, Iyo can call upon shining dark light that destroys anything it touches. She used it twice against the Ancestral Beast during the events of the Shin Yamatai-koku Singularity. It was capable of greatly reducing the god's Divinity.[10]
