"Flock This Way" is the thirty-sixth episode of third season, and the one-hundred-eleventh episode of The Casagrandes. Plot[]Rosa's family activity of birdwatching in the woods goes sour when Sergio gets mistaken for a rare species. Synopsis[]The kids, Hector and Sergio are gathered in the living room watching TV as Rosas comes in decked out in safari gear. She chooses birdwatching as the family activity for the day and to spot different birds from her book. Ronnie Anne tells her that birdwatching sounds boring, and they all beg Rosa to choose another activity. Rosa summons her chancla, causing them to change their minds. Later, the Casagrandes are now in a forest, walking around as Rosa makes some bird calls. She first summons Bitsy and then tries another bird call and summons two hipsters. Rosa tells the kids that birdwatching takes time when suddenly a British man emerges from a tree trunk. The man introduces himself as David Nababirdy, a professional bird enthusiast. Rosa invites David to join them, and he accepts. Carl suggests they need to leave, but CJ reminds him they can't until Rosa sees some birds. Ronnie Anne comes up with an idea where they dress up Sergio to look like a bunch of the birds in Abuela's book. Throughout the day, Sergio is dressed up as a woodpecker, an owl, and a peregrine falcon. Happy to see all the different birds, Rosa tells them lets try to spot one more, and then they can go home. Later, Carlota sees another bird, which is Sergio disguised as a bird of paradise. Nababirdy is surprised to see one in Great Lakes City, while Rosa mentioned that the bird is only found in New Guinea. She tells the kids it has been a wonderful day and they can head home. As Sergio is trying to get the costume off, Nababirdy thinks he's a talking Vogelkop, thinking he's more valuable. As Sergio flies away, Nababirdy catches him in a net and throws him in a cage. Later, at Nababirdy's house, Sergio tells him he's a parrot and doesn't want to live with him. Nababirdy informs him that he's living with him and will be sold to a wealthy bird collector. Sergio grabs the phone and calls Ronnie Anne. The kids walk to Nababirdy's house and knock on the door. Carl tells Nababirdy the bird he nabbed isn't a rare bird, it was Sergio. Nababirdy thinks the kids are here to get the bird of paradise to sell it themselves and shuts the door. Ronnie Anne knows this wouldn't have happened if they hadn't rushed Rosa's birdwatching day. CJ mentioned they did learn some cool stuff about birds, which gives Ronnie Anne the idea to use their bird knowledge to save Sergio. As Nababirdy wraps Sergio's cage in paper, he hears some bird calls (which are from CJ outside his window). He exits the house with a net as the kids all head inside his house. They see Sergio in the wrapped cage and are relieved to see he is unharmed. Nababirdy has just returned and noticed the cage is open. The kids and Sergio back away from Nababirdy but bump into a massive cage. Carl trips on a crocodile mouth and drops his El Falcón action figure. Nababirdy has indeed heard that and heads towards the cage, which has a magenta tarp over it. He unveils the tarp and notices it only has the El Falcón action figure. The toy shoots Nababirdy in the eyes as Ronnie Anne shuts the cage. The kids are armed with wrapping paper to wrap the cage up with him in it. Later, Mirta carries the giant cage out of the house with the kids watching. Later, at the Casagrande apartment, Ronnie Anne explains everything to Rosa about what happened with Sergio. They apologize for speeding up the day in the woods, while Carlota suggests they can go birdwatching again next week. Rosa accepts their apology and tells them she has a new hobby. She comes back and tells the kids that her new hobby is beekeeping. She releases a swarm of bees from the box, and they run away as the bees chase them. Cast[]
