The Cave Snake is a serpent that lives in caves in the Lava Wastes. It is known to prey on baby Lava Dragons.

Queen of RAGE![]
At some point after the Ritual of the Blood Moon, the Cave Snake resided within a cave in the Lava Wastes of the Wyldness. It was awoken from its slumber by a newborn fire dragon and attempted to eat the baby dragon, but was blasted away by one of Wyldfyre's fireballs, knocking the snake from the cave ledge it had been sleeping on.
A maze of reflections[]
The snake later pursued the baby fire dragons to a crystal filled portion of the cave, where it lunged at the three with wide open jaws. Unfortunately, the baby dragons were too fast and the snake smashed its snout against one of the crystal walls, cracking the crystal as it shook its head in pain. The snake continued to pursue its prey, but was deterred by blasts of fire from Wyldfyre. When it followed them again to the cave's exit, Wyldfyre kept it at bay with her powers before bringing down chunks of rock to bury the entrance to the cave, preventing the snake from following any further.

The Cave Snake is a very large snake covered in purple scales on the top half of its body, and lime-green scales on its underside and belly. It also possesses large frills on both sides of its head that seem to open and close regularly as it slithers across the ground.
