The Fold is an American pop-rock band founded in Chicago, Illinois in 2005. From 2011-2022, they created music for Ninjago, including its theme song The Weekend Whip.
It comprises of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dan Castady, percussionist Nate Burgard, vocalist and bass guitarist Matt Pittman, and vocalist and lead guitarist George Castady. Mark Rhoades was a percussionist in the band. Their releases pertaining to Ninjago are released under the JAM Music Company, headed by Jeppe Riddervold.

Trivia[]
- The Fold makes their first appearances in the show as minifigures in "Green Destiny" and "The Weekend Drill."
- The Fold returned in Season 11: Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu with a new version of The Weekend Whip after three season hiatus.
- In addition to "No More," the intro music for "Wu's Teas" was composed by The Fold.[1]
- The Fold has a video series on YouTube called "The Weekly Whip" where Dan Castady reveals behind-the-scenes information about their various Ninjago songs.[2]
- To keep the costs lower for creating the Rebooted songs, the band reused elements from previous songs of theirs. For example, "Spinnin' Out In Color" took inspiration from "Moving Past" and "Eye of the Storm" took inspiration from an unfinished song called "White Flag."[3][4]
- As of 2020, they were producing more Ninjago songs aside from remixes of the Weekend Whip.[5]
- One of them is the longest Fold song for Ninjago ever made.
- The songs not to appear in the TV series in any form are A-W-E-S-O-M-E, Full Digital, Spinnin' Out In Color, We Are Ninja, Enter the Tournament, Close the Circle, The Time is Now, and Digital Love.
- In the fourteenth episode of the Weekly Whip, the lead singer of The Fold, Dan Castady, revealed his mother passed away in 2006.[6]
