“Sure, I love a bit of dissent-quashing too. Only problem, there's never any dissent in the Administration.”
— Roderick Allen to SsssSsss Underwood, "The Shape of Motion"

Agent Roderick Allen is an Administration Agent.

History[]

Dragons Rising, Season 1[]

Prior to The Administration[]

At some point after the Ninja's quest to find the Dragon Cores and before Lloyd and Arin's arrival in the Administration, Roderick Allen and his partner, SsssSsss Underwood, investigated the Monastery of Spinjitzu and detained Zane for "too many failed portal activation attempts."

The Administration[]

Allen and Underwood came across Lloyd and Arin, demanding their forms before the latter tried to stall, until a tube containing papers arrived and they saw that they were forms with drawings of the two. Clearing them, both agents headed to their cubicle to file paperwork about the misunderstanding, where Underwood shortly discovered the deception upon discovering that identifications forms required subject photos. The two then filed out a "later date" form in order to search for Lloyd and Arin. When the two confronted the Ninja in the room where Zane was being held, Arin hurled the pencils that he had been collecting from other agents at the two, landing in front of the agents' feet just as they stepped forward and causing them to slip. When the three ninja escaped through one of the tubes,

Later, he and Underwood attempted to stop the Ninja as they attempted to flee through the halls of the Administration, during which Roderick ordered for the laser grids to be activated. After their attempts failed however, Roderick muttered that they would have to explain their failure, to which Underwood bemoaned would be, "So much paperwork."

Dragons Rising, Season 2[]

Fugitives From Madness[]

As Zane, Cole, Bonzle, and Jiro went to find Gandalaria in Mysterium, they passed through the Kingdom of Madness. Unbeknownst to them, their presence caught the attention of the Administration Agents, who held a grudge against Zane for his daring escape from the Administration alongside Arin and Lloyd.

Being the spokesperson for the agents, Roderick wasted no time in demanding Zane's surrender. Because of the recent emergence of the Blood Moon, Zane offered to turn himself in, hoping to spare his friends from harm. However, Roderick revealed that Zane, being a Nindroid, was considered mere equipment rather than a living being. If Zane were to surrender, he would be condemned to the Department of Demolitions. Cole voiced his concern, highlighting the fact that such an act would result in Zane's death. Yet, Roderick callously dismissed Cole's plea, arguing that since Zane was a Nindroid, his death would pale in comparison to that of a living being. Citing Addendum 47-A, Roderick made it clear that anyone who aided a fugitive like Zane, including Cole, Gandalaria, and Bonzle, would also face termination. Jiro was detained by the Agents, prompting Cole to demand his release. However, Roderick brushed off Cole's request, suggesting that they could discuss it further during their way to the incinerator. Roderick ordered the agents to breach the Monastery of Mysterium. However, Zane informed the agents that in order to gain access to the monastery, they must complete the 35-C91 form. Additionally, they would also need to include a 5-21 appendix with the form. Roderick handed Zane the form along with the required appendix. However, Zane pointed out that the form needed to be filled out in triplicate. Annoyed by Zane's request, Roderick proceeded to fill out the form in triplicate, then hopped on a Master Mech to forcefully enter the Monastery of Mysterium by breaking down its doors. He presented the three forms to Zane, leading to a fight ensuing between the two parties.

Secrets of the Wyldness[]

Roderick and Underwood faced off against Cole in his Elemental Earth Mech, only to be quickly overpowered by Cole. After regaining their composure, Roderick instructed his agents to redirect their efforts towards eliminating Zane, issuing a stern warning to Zane and threatening to enforce a specific statute against them. Zane, however, pointed out the irony of the statute's consequences being trivial compared to Roderick's previous order to terminate them. Roderick, acknowledging Zane's astute observation, cynically remarked that fines held no weight when the person being fined was already dead.

Cole retaliated by using his Earth Punch to send Roderick flying backwards, while Zane took control of a Master Mech and planned to set all the Administration Agents' mechs to self-destruct. Roderick, quick on his feet, used the spear from his Master Mech to deactivate Zane's, effectively neutralizing Zane. Before Roderick could deliver the final blow, Cole intervened and knocked him back, leading to Gandalaria reactivating Zane, who then ejected all the Administration Agents out of their mechs, including Roderick.

The Shape of Motion[]

Roderick and Underwood were seen on security duty. As they exited a hallway, Roderick admitted that he despised security duty, to which Underwood replied that she enjoyed it because she gets to crush dissent. Roderick admitted that while he too enjoyed quashing dissent, there was never any dissent in the Administration. When Underwood accused a yawning applicant of causing trouble, Roderick joined in on questioning the applicant before resignedly admitting that nothing goes on around the Administration. Some time later, Roderick and Underwood encountered Arin and Sora in the Department of Reassignment, leading Roderick to call for reinforcements as he urged the teenagers to surrender. Unfortunately, the intruders managed to escape through the use of a smoke bomb, leaving Roderick to grumble that the smoke bomb probably wasn't even licensed.
