Italicized Skills are exclusive to Persona 4 Golden, specifically to the second Persona evolutions that the party members can get during the winter if spoken with after their Social Links have been maxed.
In Persona 4 Golden, skills may be acquired via Skill Cards, which can be gained either by spending time at the Chagall Café with the appropriate Persona equipped, or via Shuffle Time. The number in (parentheses) indicates the minimum "tier" of a Suit of Swords card found in Shuffle Time that is needed for a Skill Card to drop.

- In the original Persona 4, re-casting Skills that are already in effect will cause the Skill to be "missed". In Persona 4 Golden, this was changed to extend the timer.
- Yoshitsune learns Debilitate as a Bonus Skill if fused on December 24; also, in Persona 4 Golden, Magatsu-Izanagi learns Heat Riser; in the original Persona 4, it was unused as a player Persona and (as seen by hacking it in) had no Skills, although in both versions, the Magatsu-Izanagi used by Tohru Adachi has that Skill.

- Stronger counter skills override weaker ones. For example, stacking Counter and High Counter will only result in a 20% reflect chance, not 30%.
- If there is more than one skill or attribute defending against a type of attack or ailment, the higher ranking skill or attribute overrides the lower one in the following order: Absorb > Repel > Null > Resist > Innate weakness.
