An Eerie is a dinosaur-like ghost enemy featured in Super Mario World. It has rarely made any other appearances since.

In Super Mario World[]

Eeries, like several other ghost enemies, are only encountered in Ghost Houses. Eeries often fly around in straight lines, attempting to fly into Mario or Luigi, although some Eeries also fly in wobbly lines, making them trickier to avoid. An Eerie can only be defeated while under the effect of a Starman.
