Bell Trees are an object introduced in Super Mario 3D World.

Description[]

Bell Trees are a type of tree, and climbing to the top of it releases an item, usually a Super Bell, hence the name. A Bell Tree has a white trunk and a yellow and orange-striped crown of leaves in the shape of a Super Bell. Bell Trees vary in height, with some being short while others are very tall, even more in comparison to Mega Mario.

A Bell Tree in Super Mario 3D World

Bell Trees are found in various levels, primarily in World 1, but seldomly appear afterward. Like with regular trees, a Bell Tree can be climbed onto for the character to reach higher areas. A Super Bell is usually released when climbing to the top of a Bell Tree. When climbed on, Bell Trees emit a bell jingling sound, something that also occurs if touching it with the Wii U GamePad in the original Super Mario 3D World. Like with many other objects, a Bell Tree can be destroyed if a character walks into it while in their Mega form, granted by a Mega Mushroom.

Super Mario Maker 2[]

Bell Trees are featured as a course element in the Super Mario 3D World style. Similarly to Warp Pipes, the player can adjust the height of a Bell Tree. It is possible to place an item inside of a Bell Tree, and if the player's character climbs to the top of the Bell Tree, the item pops out.

In Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (Wii U)[]
