The Giga Bell is a power up exclusive to the Bowser's Fury mode of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. It transforms Mario into Giga Cat Mario, although its power can only be accessed by collecting five Cat Shines. Giga Bells make their first appearance near Lake Lapcat's lakeside.
Mother Calico Cats can often be found near them.
Description[]
By default, Giga Bells are the standard Super Bell, but their size is much larger and the Giga Bell has cat ears, whiskers, green eyes, and a more orangish coloration. It also rests on a golden, Sphinx-like pedestal with a short staircase leading up to the top, sometimes with a few stacks of coins resting beneath. When it has been corrupted by Fury Bowser, however, the bell becomes black and spiky, with a dark purple aura surrounding it, and it appears to be asleep, or sad. When awake, it will start making ringing noises, the sound similar to a massive bell, and make low meowing noises.
The Giga Bell can only be used by Mario. The user of it gains a komainu-like Cat costume and has all of the abilities of Cat Mario. But it makes Mario huge and even if he is damaged and isn't a cat anymore, he will still be a giga-sized Mario, more giant than if he takes the Mega Mushroom, and if he takes more damage from there, he’ll become his small form, but also giga-sized. This is the only way to fight Fury Bowser off.
