Kaima Todoroki (轟 戒真, Todoroki Kaima) is the final antagonist of Kamen Rider Geats × Revice: Movie Battle Royale. He is an assassin sent by Colus to participate in the Desire Royale as Kamen Rider Seeker (仮面ライダーシーカー, Kamen Raidā Shīkā).
History
Background
Kaima Todoroki is the youngest son of Eiichi Todoroki, a prominent Japanese politician. Because of his inability to meet his father's expectations, he was considered inferior compared to his successful siblings. In the past, Kaima was a MMA fighter who was accused of assaulting a person. Although his father kept the incident under wraps, this forced him to retire from professional fighting.
At some point, Kaima was recruited to participate in one edition of the Desire Grand Prix under the management of Colus. He was given a Desire Driver and the Seeker Core ID to become Kamen Rider Seeker. Kaima ultimately prevailed in the tournament, where he became known as the "Unbeatable Deza-Shin".
Kamen Rider Geats × Revice: Movie Battle Royale
Kaima was later selected by Colus to participate in the Desire Royale under his father's orders. Arriving in a limousine, he confronted the current DGP champion, Ace Ukiyo. Kaima transformed into the Kamen Rider Seeker and utilized Koshiro Igarashi's Inner Demon to power himself up. During the ensuing battle with Kamen Riders Geats and Revice, Seeker proved to be a formidable opponent because of his weaponry advantage. Eventually, Seeker had to withdraw from the battle to prepare for the next round.
In the Desire Temple, Kaima was present with Ren Akiyama, Takeshi Asakura, and Mirror Image Shinji in writing their ideal world. He wrote down on the Desire Card to ensure a world where his father becomes a dictator. As the Kamen Rider Extermination round began, Kamen Rider Seeker briefly fought the other Riders but withdrew under Colus' orders to construct the Gate of Destruction. However, Girori killed Colus and retook control of the Desire Grand Prix, changing the final round to a "Deer Game" where Kamen Rider Seeker was the final boss.
When Kamen Riders Geats and Revi reach the Gate of Destruction, they encounter Seeker and engage in battle. Despite Kaima boasting his power, the two of them point out that his power is unearned since he is doped from Giff's DNA. After suffering a direct hit from Revice's Rex Stamping Finish that separated Koshiro's demon, Seeker was defeated by Geats' Magnum Boost Grand Victory. Although he survived, Kaima was encouraged by Ace and Ikki to figure out his own desires. He was able to peacefully retire from the competition, thus returning to a normal life.
Personality
Kaima Todoroki is a complex character who initially struggles with feelings of inadequacy. He has a sense of living in the shadow of his successful siblings due to the pressure to meet his father's expectations. His past as an MMA fighter and allegations of assault force him into early retirement, leaving behind a lingering frustration. However, his participation in the Desire Grand Prix sparks a transformation within him. He emerges as a determined and ambitious individual who becomes renowned as the "Unbeatable Deza-Shin."
In the Desire Royale, Kaima was brought back to participate as Kamen Rider as his father's tool. Throughout his battles with the other Kamen Riders, he was compelled to face his insecurities and discover the true source of his power. With Ace and Ikki providing him with encouragement, he found the strength to let go of competition and retire. Instead, he chose to embrace a more peaceful and authentic life, highlighting Kaima's self-acceptance as he moves away from the shadows of his past and his father.

Behind the Scenes
Portrayal
Kaima Todoroki is portrayed by Yusuke Onuki (大貫 勇輔, Ōnuki Yūsuke). As Kamen Rider Seeker, his suit actor is Takuma Komori (小森 拓真, Komori Takuma),[3] who was the suit actor for Kamen Riders Mary, Glare, and Gazer in the TV series.
Etymology
- Seeker's name is a play on "deer" (鹿, shika), which is his primary motif.
Notes
- There were proposals to cast a professional boxer as Kaima Todoroki, but doing so would require acting talent in addition to physical prowess. Yusuke Onuki, who previously portrayed Kenshiro in the Fist of the North Star musical, was selected for the role.[4][5]
- Kaima is depicted as very conscious of family, which was a recurring theme of Revice. In contrast to an ideal family that comes together to celebrate new life, Kaima is a twisted representation of being forced by his father to fight for him.[6]
- According to Detail of Heroes segment of Uchusen 179, the entirety of Kamen Rider Seeker's suit is made from the ground-up. This includes the armor part added by Gigant Container Buckle, which shares its mold to the Armed Weapon forms.[7]
