The Kurama Conglomerate (鞍馬財閥, Kurama Zaibatsu) is a mysterious company headed by the Kurama family. It is one of the major sponsors of the Desire Grand Prix.
History[]
Kurama Conglomerate was a big company in Japan led by Kousei Kurama as the CEO of the company, which had a major influence towards the government, the country. The company had good relations with the government and other wealthy families. However, with the death of Akari Kurama, Kousei made a deal with Niram to have his daughter back by using Desire Card under the condition that Kurama Conglomerate becomes a sponsor of Desire Grand Prix and uses its influence to suppress the government and the media's knowledge of the Jyamato's existence. However, Kousei chose to instead create a new daughter known as Neon.
Kousei then changed the company's focus to make good relations with the DGP management and its audiences, while Irumi still focused to maintain relations with the present families, including having Neon go on blind dates. When Neon realized her real existence as a creation of Goddess and had Irumi remember Akari's existence, she left the house along with the company, no longer treating herself as a part of Kurama family. Just prior to the Grand End, the government cut ties with the Conglomerate and allowed the existence of Jyamato to be broadcast on the media due to the company no longer having the ability to help them to grant desires, while Kousei was arrested shortly afterwards, causing the company to be dissolved.
With Kousei escaping the jail during the Century Ending Game, he gets chance to make amends with his family, giving the true love Neon longed for, Neon then returned to home again, while the family now providing their assistance towards Ace's DGP in order to protect the world.
