Aoto (蒼斗) is the human identity of the King Jyamato (キングジャマト, Kingu Jamato) and the main antagonist of Kamen Rider Geats: Jyamato Awaking.[2]
History[]
King Jyamato was one of new mutated Jyamatos raised by Daichi Isuzu, alongside with the Queen Jyamato. After the duo was developed, they somehow obtained a human-like appearance of their own. The King Jyamato was named Aoto by Daichi, hoping to have Aoto and Hazuki, the human name of Queen Jyamato, to become the new leader of the new Jyamato leaders to coexist with humans, by having them to adapt human life. However, Aoto fails as he cannot get used to human food like cookies and his human appearance looks broken and needed to be wrapped in bandages. Though Daichi still have hopes in him due to the success of Hazuki, and hopes he can understand human's love emotion like the latter.
In reality, however, Aoto actually has his human appearance completed as a handsome person, while he was trying to rule over humans instead of co-existing with them.
Personality[]
Aoto was one of the first mutant Jyamato, the 'Adam' to Hazuki's 'Eve', but had no interest in understanding why Jyamato and humankind should coexist. Not only he had no interest, he viewed Jyamato as a superior beings who must be above the humans and he began a plan to make the Jyamato the dominant species, by killing Kiyoharu and taking advantage of Hazuki's powers after he had learned how Hazuki had a better life.
Aoto is cunning as he is able to take advantage of humans' fear and used it to develop a plan to make human fear Jyamato by baiting Hazuki to give into anger and hate humans, turning himself and his pawns to go for an undercover to kill Kiyoharu as a human and his pawns to be humans so they act to make sure humans are afraid of Jyamato. This shows that Aoto has understood love and peace, but he values them differently.
Despite his trait, Aoto is too ambitious with his goal as his plan is eventually blown up by Keiwa because while he was able to make a powerful alibi, Aoto is too focused on targeting his baits to pump Hazuki's rage.

Aoto is portrayed by Keigo Hagiya (萩谷 慧悟, Hagiya Keigo), who previously portrayed Aym in Kamen Rider Zangetsu: -Gaim Gaiden-. As the King Jyamato, his suit actor is Kenya Saitou (斉藤 健也, Saitō Ken'ya), who was the suit actor for Kamen Rider Regad Omega.
