Overview[]
Kamen Rider Odin is the self-proclaimed "Final, 13th Rider". When someone transformed using the Odin Card Deck, they were turned into a mindless puppet controlled by Shiro Kanzaki. Odin had three purposes. He could interact with the real world in ways that Shiro Kanzaki - being part of the Mirror World - couldn't, such as using the Time Vent card to turn back the flow of time. He was also assigned to protect the life of Yui Kanzaki at all costs. And finally, he was Shiro Kanzaki's trump card in the Rider War, created to eliminate the last remaining Rider so that Shiro could ultimately win the Rider War and the coveted wish.

Personality[]
Being a puppet to Shiro Kanzaki, the personality of the host is completely lost. However, Odin was observant, methodical, and silent. He always gives of an impression of being in control in battle. Odin's lack of concern towards living left him fearless, which was his most intimidating factor against the other Riders.
Fighting Style[]
Like most of the Riders in the series, Odin is a melee oriented Rider. However, as he is not intended to be defeated, he has several innate abilities to completely overwhelm his opponents. First is his overwhelming strength. He can incapacitate most of the other Riders by simply slapping them. He can also teleport around the battlefield, which makes him almost impossible to hit. Because of this ability, Odin only moves when absolutely necessary and mostly stands still, keeping his arms folded. When fighting seriously, Odin also summons gusts of golden exploding feathers towards his opponent. It is interesting to note that these abilities require no Advent Cards to activate.

Kamen Rider Odin is Shiro Kanzaki's representative in the Rider Fight. He is contracted to Goldphoenix. His Visor, the Goldvisor (ゴルドバイザー, Gorudobaizā), is a staff that can also hold all three Survive Advent Cards after the wings on its upper section are opened. When this is done, Odin becomes immortal. Odin's parameters are the highest out of all of the 13 Riders, including those in Survive Form. This was done by Kanzaki to ensure that Odin would win the Rider Fight and grant him his wish.
Through the use of his Sword Vent Advent Card, Odin can arm himself with the Goldsabers (ゴルトセイバー, Goruto Seibā), a pair of swords derived from the tips of Goldphoenix's wings. His Guard Vent equips him with the Goldshield (ゴルトシールド, Goruto Shīrudo), a shield derived from Goldphoenix's tail.
By using his Final Vent, Odin can execute his finisher, Eternal Chaos (エターナルカオス, Etānaru Kaosu), in which Goldphoenix picks up Odin in its flaming talons and throws him at the enemy. Another variation of the attack involves Goldphoenix charging itself up with golden energy and then ramming the target.

Concept Art[]
Etymology[]
- Odin is named after the chief god of Norse Mythology of the same name.
Notes[]
- Kamen Rider Odin is designed after Henshin Ninja Arashi, one of Shotaro Ishinomori's characters from the show of the same name.[3][4][5]
- Kamen Rider Odin's belt portion of his V Buckle is colored gold instead of silver like the other true Mirror Riders' V Buckles.
- Kamen Rider Odin is the only Rider whose main form is Survive Form.[6][7][8]
- Suit designer Masato Hayase states that Odin is the strongest Kamen Rider, so he actually appears in Survive Form from the beginning. He also confirms that Odin does possess a normal form that does not appear in the series.[9]
- According to Kamen Rider Zukan, the Survive (Mugen) Advent Card is always active while Odin is transformed. It can then be inferred that this card is the source of his Survive Form.[10]
- Odin transforms onscreen for the first time in Rider Time: Kamen Rider Ryuki, as he is never seen doing so in Ryuki. His Card Deck seemingly inserts itself into his V Buckle seemingly by itself, which is similar to the transformation of Kamen Rider Cronus from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid and Kamen Rider Gaoh from Kamen Rider Den-O, who are also able to manipulate time.
- In the Kamen Rider Perfect File Magazine, it was revealed that Odin also owns a Strange Vent Card that possibly allows Odin to use one random Advent Card, although he never used it.
