Daisuke Okubo (大久保 大介, ��kubo Daisuke) is the former Chief Editor of a closed ORE Journal and Shinji Kido's former boss.
As social media grew to become the main platform for sharing news, ORE Journal fell out of business. Daisuke spent the last few years wallowing in sadness, not having moved on. When Sougo approached him to ask about ORE Journal, Daisuke bluntly said he wasn't its editor-in-chief anymore. However, he recounted his days working at the news site, giving Sougo a clue to look for Shinji.[#21 Mirror World 2019]
After Another Ryuga was defeated, Shinji went on to look for Daisuke once again, encouraging him to move on. The two of them would re-kindle their long-lasting friendship as Daisuke was able to let go of the past. [Zi-O Strongest! 2019]
