The Zein Driver (ゼインドライバー, Zein Doraibā) is the transformation device used by Kamen Rider Zein.
Overview[]
The Zein Driver was created by George Karizaki and completed when Nico Saiba installed the special program Kamen Rider Chronicle into the driver in accordance with Project Zein.
The driver is able to transform into Kamen Rider Zein by loading the Kamen Rider Zein Progrisekey in which the artificial intelligence Zein is stored, into the right-hand side of the Driver. Further special techniques are performed by inserting a Zein Card into the slot on top, to which the card will be read by a special algorithm based on Kamen Rider Chronicle. Once the read is processed, the card is shredded, and the Driver will transfer the powers of the card into Zein, allowing him to access a variety of powers.
It also allows Zein to possess a host and communicate with them through the Driver.
Design[]
The Zein Driver is composed of the following parts:[1]
- Rise Slot (ライズスロット, Raizu Surotto): The slot intended to insert Progrisekeys into. By loading a Progrisekey, it connects the device into an internal Rise Port (ライズポート, Raizu Pōto), a device that allows the Driver to read and learn the Progrisekey's abilities. By pressing it after transformation, the special move "Justice Order" will be activated.
- Zein Quasar (ゼインクエーサー, Zein Kuēsā): The wireless power receiver. It receives electromagnetic wireless power supply from external devices and facilities linked to the artificial intelligence Zein. The system was originally designed for instantaneous transmission of energy generated and stored by satellites outside the atmosphere, and can transmit over 1 million kW per second at maximum output. This removes the restriction of housing the power source inside the driver and contributes to the miniaturization of the Zein system, which has become complex due to the integration of numerous advanced technologies.
- Zein Communicator (ゼインコミュニケーター, Zein Komyunikētā): The communication device. It exchanges information with humans and external devices through communication using lights and synthesized voices.
- Ride Ex Machina (ライドエクスマキナ, Raido Ekusu Makina): The special ability adding device. Upon receiving the input of the "Ride Executor" operating handle, a Deep Reading (ディープリーディング, Dīpu Rīdingu) is executed that reads and shreds the information of the set Zein Card, giving the transformer the powers of various Kamen Riders. The confidentiality clause signed with the Zein Card information providers requires that the cards must not be reused to prevent misuse.
- Ast Silverio (アストシルバリオ, Asuto Shirubario): The exterior material. The complex monocoque structure is molded from high-density sintered materials blended with rare metals such as "Astmetalum" and platinum. This provides high shock absorption while ensuring capacity for internal mechanisms, and the frame itself functions as an information transmission path, minimizing lag between each device.
- Ride Executor (ライドエグゼキューター, Raido Eguzekyūtā): The operation handle for the crushing reader "Ride Ex Machina". Pulling the handle executes the reading crushing of the Zein card.
Functionality[]
Transformation[]
The Zein Driver works similar to the Ark Driver. The user activates the Kamen Rider Zein Progrisekey, four portals will appears behind the user. The scene displayed by the portal background behind each transformation is different, but basically it shows some scenery on the Earth or the other planets in the universe. The scene will also change dramatically depending on the person who transforms. At the same time, a blue energy grid spread out under the user's feet.
After slots the Progrisekey into the Rise Slot, which then fuses all the portals and the blue energy grid into the user. At this time, the background changes to time lapse footages of various modern cities. The user himself is surrounded by various circular colorful effects, gradually forming Rider armor, and finally merges with the background to complete the transformation process.
When canceling the transformation, the user can just take out the Progrisekey, remove all armors from the body, the morden city time lapse footages also played during the process.
Finisher[]
To initiate the finisher Justice Order (ジャスティスオーダー, Jasutisu Ōdā), Kamen Rider Zein shreds the Zein Cards, pulls the Ride Executor and presses the Progrisekey again. The downside to this is that these are one-time use, as the driver shreds the card to use the power.
To initiate the second finisher Justice Punishment (ジャスティスパニッシュメント, Jasutisu Panisshumento), Kamen Rider Zein simply presses the Progrisekey. This finisher can combined its power with Justice Order.

- The Zein Driver is composed of the following aspects from past Kamen Rider series.
- The Zein Progrisekey that is used to initiate the transformation, and the Zein Driver are redesigned from the Amazing Caucasus Progrisekey and ZAIA Thousandriver.

- The Zein Driver itself was created by George Karizaki, who is most notably a Kamen Rider fanboy, and the driver's exterior is made of Astmetalum (アストメタルム, Asutometarumu) like Demons Driver, Vail Driver, Destream Driver, and the Juuga Driver.
- The Zein Driver's system has one of Genm Corp.'s games act as a program to help harness different Rider Powers from Zein Cards, which is Kamen Rider Chronicle.
- The Zein Driver is the second driver in the Kamen Rider franchise to utilize collectible devices from more than one series (i.e. uses both Progrisekeys and Zein Cards), following the GingaOh Driver, and the first to be used by an actual Rider.
