"In the Balance" (命の天秤, Inochi no Tenbin?, lit. The Scales of Life) is the final boss theme of Aglaia, the first tier in the alliance raid series Myths of the Realm, introduced in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker patch 6.1.

It was composed by Masayoshi Soken and arranged by Ryo Furukawa and Soken.^[1] The lyrics were written by Kathryn Cwynar and it was performed by tea.^[2][3] The lyric concept and translation were provided by Shoko Miyagawa.

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker[]

"In the Balance" plays during the final encounter against Nald'thal in Aglaia. Portions of the track are arranged in the Aglaia zone theme titled "Pilgrimage" (巡礼者の道 〜輝ける神域 アグライア〜, Junreisha no Michi ~Kagayakeru Shin'iki Aguraia~?, lit. Pilgrim's Path ~Shining Sanctuary Aglaia~), arranged by Saya Yasaki.

"In the Balance" is track 3 on the Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker - EP digital mini album.^[6][7] It is track 4 on the Growing Light: Final Fantasy XIV Original Soundtrack. "Pilgrimage" is track 2 on the original soundtrack.
