"Vamping Trip" is the first segment of the sixth episode of Vampirina. It premiered on October 13, 2017 alongside "The Monster Snore".

Plot[]

The Hauntleys are going on their first camping trip in Pennsylvania, as well as Poppy and her family. Vampirina can't wait to show the Peeplesons how the Hauntleys do vamping. Oxana and Boris talk about the Hauntleys' vamping trips back in Romania. Wolfie can come, as well, as long as he doesn't get into any of the milk and turns into a werewolf. It is also revealed that Gregoria and Demi are coming on the trip, as well as they stay hidden from the Peeplesons. Afterwards, the Peeplesons arrive, and Poppy thanks Vampirina for inviting the Peeplesons to come camping. Edna hopes there are not a lot of bugs during the trip, as she doesn't like the creepy crawlies. Vampirina reassures her that everything will be fine. Edgar hopes he can get a picture of the elusive Bigfoot, a big ape who lives in the forest, during the trip, as it'll make his web show a hit. The Hauntleys and the Peeplesons then go on the trip.

Poppy likes the place, and Vampirina says that that's what she likes about camping. She says that by the end of the trip, they all have cool stories to share, but Edgar is playing a video game. He is only interested in getting his gear ready for Bigfoot. Edna mentions Oxana bringing a garden gnome statue with her. Oxana thinks that is to make a campsite feel just like home. Oxana tells Gregoria that he would make a dreadfully cute one.

Boris then tells the Hauntleys and the Peeplesons stories around the campfire after Oxana keeps Demi hidden. Boris tells a story which everyone likes while Edgar is still playing his game. He was making sure his phone is ready to take the first picture of Bigfoot. The Hauntleys and the Peeplesons then go stargazing, except for Edgar. Poppy can go stargazing as long as she stays close to Oxana and Boris and doesn't wander. After Boris mentions it, Poppy wonders what Transylvanian constellations are before Oxana shows her such things. Vampirina tells Poppy that they're all part of the vamping experience. She says that her favorite constellation is the dancing ghoul twins. The Hauntleys then turn themselves into bats and make the constellation while stating how beautiful camping is at night, as well as how it is a beautiful night for a flight.

Poppy states that vamping is even better than she thought it would be. She mentions that Edgar's more of a techy than a nature kid. Edna then appears, stating that she and Edgar are going for a quick walk around the campgrounds. Edgar vows to take a picture of Bigfoot during the walk. Edna then gives Edgar a chance to look around so he can sleep better. She mentions that she gave Wolfie milk. Just then, Wolfie's howl is heard. While Edgar and Edna continue their walk, everyone else decides to split up to search for Wolfie, with Demi and Gregoria joining in. Oxana gives everyone moon dust, which will turn Wolfie back to his normal self.

Edgar and Edna decide to head back to the campsite just as they get lost. Furthermore, Edgar's phone is out of battery just as Wolfie (which Edgar mistakes as Bigfoot) appears. Demi flies ahead to get Wolfie's attention and spins around him to make him dizzy. Gregoria grabs Wolfie's leg to hold him while Vampirina uses the moon dust to turn Wolfie back to his normal self. Poppy then finds Edgar and Edna before Wolfie appears with Vampirina. Edna calls Wolfie a hero.

At day, Edgar finishes the story about the howling of Bigfoot which he saw. After he was gone, Vampirina and Wolfie came out of the trees. Everyone likes the story, with Boris stating that that's what camping is all about, which is coming home with exciting stories everyone can share together. Edgar apologizes for trying to catch Bigfoot instead of doing camping stuff. Vampirina says that she, Edgar, and Poppy can make a Transylvania spook-fort. Edna offers to charge Edgar's phone in the car, but Edgar says that camping is all about doing stuff together. Edgar, Vampirina, and Poppy continue with the spook-fort.
